Here's another small update. I decided to cut some metal for the based to give it some strength in order to hold up the cowl as it gets heftier. I took a side panel from a scraped computer chassis and used part of the base as a stencil. Also I resined/bondoed the rounded base portion but it needs alotta work.

Sorry this is as late as it is, but here's a small up date on the model, got the chin finished, then realized there was a really small piece I lost somehow in the process so I need to re-print, cut, and attach that one. Otherwise the main model just needs minor tweaks. The base and eye portions should be following shortly!

Admittedly patience is needed. I did a small grenade (Halo) and luckily had a few materials lying around. Still took me an hour or so of cutting and bending and sticking.

Very enjoyable though!

Just a quick update, I finished etching out the first steel reinforced base part as you can see in the images attached. Still a lot to do...
