Are those heavy? Then they're expensive, put them back... - Jurassic Park

I'm with you on the resurgence. I expect the blu ray will sell incredibly well. The novel is really good, I re-read it a few months ago too. I read it when I was in 5th grade, and I read "The Lost World" by Chrichton even earlier than that. Both great reads, I'll be re-reading lost world soon too.

These goggles will theoretically have rotating lens bezels and the tubes will move in and out as well. I say theoretically because I have them designed to work like that, but it's quite a bit of work to get a digital file into physical form.

Might I make a suggestion?

It would be an incredible act of goodwill to make a lower-res/less detailed pepakura version of these, for the poorer among us. I don't think it would detract from sales of the higher end version. :)

Regardless of whether you do that or not, the renders look *fantastic*! Nice job! :)

I'll fire up pepakura and see what it looks like. But I wouldn't expect it to be an easy unfold... No promises.

I didn't design these with PEP in mind, and the model didn't unfold well. I would have to redesign the entire thing with the intention of pep'ing it. Which is a possibility, but I don't know where the time will come from. PM me if you would be interested in a fairly low res pep file of these.

How did I miss this thread?
Looking good Drew, very good indeed.

Render up the whole thing, allow people to add in their own backgrounds and then print it up High Res and stick it to the inside of a case.....from a distance you'd never know ;)

I'm wondering if there will be anything about these in the bonus material on the blu-ray set.
2 hours is a long time, but I'm guessing it'll mostly be about the sets and the dinosaurs...not the 'props' so to speak.

If you do a run of these I know a couple people who would definitely be interested!! Keep it coming!!

Personally I think every movie should be have a seperate section just for the props and interviews with the propmakers and their work... :)
