Anyone make X wing armature for 1/18 scale X wing?

Hi all

I am starting a build on the 1/18 Hasbro x wing. I put in an order for the Falcon 3D wings. I vaguely remember someone made an armature for the wings but dont remember who.

And this will be made as Red 4 mainly as my friend Jack Klaff is who played Red 4 in ANH.

Mike Reader made a 1/18 armature for me.

This is it next to a studio scale armature (1/24).

You could motorize it using a servo. The difficult part is finding the room in an x-wing fuselage.

I received the Mike Reader 1/18 armature. Here is how it fits into my 1/18 T-65 X-wing. Perfect.

Roughly how much is Mike asking for the 1/18 armature ? It's gorgeous. I have some of his 1999 Eagle sensors. He does nice work.

Yeah, Reader does nice machine work.

Basically central sun gear on armature itself with two either stepper or 550 brushed motors per side with planetary gears on each. I am sure Mike could accommodate the mounts for the motors and maybe even the gears.

These days you could probably find motors that are as powerful but are smaller.
