Modified 1/48 X-wing

If anyone is interested is some really detail rendering of the X-wing , it has everything thing , from really detail cockpit, engines, nozzles ect . Look up Google, falconer X-Wing cockpit Pinterest. Then click on the imagine label falconer . You won't be sorry!

How will you approach a studio scale model? Scratch build or purchase one of those nice 3d prints?
I'd like to do one myself but realistically my workbench has atleast the next 12 months cut out with 1:1 Ark of the covenant parts and a thunderbird 2. So something ..... easy, like a 3D print would be good.

I found your thread on your last Xwing build and am reading through.

I haven't started threads for those builds at this stage, the Ark has a lot of available 3d print parts for the lid and a good friend has resin moulded a lot, but the vast majority of the box I have done from scratch.

I probably should start a thread soon.

And the Thunderbird 2 I got a basic fibreglass body from a friend and am going through and modifying it and creating the drop out pod.

Threads I have on here would be:
My Millienium Falcon build
Dl-44 blaster
The Last crusade Grail tablet
At-At.... a deep dive that one
Jazwares Imperial shuttle

I've done other things but just don't always get around to, or see the point in making a thread.

No worries Josh ,I will check out your builds as there is always something to learn , such as streaks stains ect!

Work on the center console, painted the panel lights . Drilled between the two black top panels and used same diameter rod and painted the ends , to represent lights . And cut panels to go on the front angle of the console . Everything is so small, that it multiple tries to get things right!
