Anyone ever make an A-Wing pilot helmet?

I've been doing quite a bit of research into the costumes for some of the less mainstream Rebel pilot costumes (A-Wing, B-Wing and Y-Wing), and have found reference pics extremely thin on the ground.

I was wondering though if anyone had ever made a helmet for the A-Wing pilot? With such interest in Star Wars, I would have thought that practically all the helmets would have been tackled by now by someone or other. I know RA does the Y-Wing helmet kit, but have seen nothing of the A-Wing OR B-Wing.....

I have not seen a A-wing or B-wing helmet made. Would love to get one of each if someone ever made them :D

There is a guy here in FL that made a kit bashed B-wing helmet a few years ago. It was just the one helmet though and I dont have any pics unfortunately. But that is the only one I have ever seen. I have yet to see anyone do an A-wing helmet. You can check the rebel legion site for him if you like. His name is Chris Duplis.

I have been searching forever to find good pics of the lower chest box for the ROTJ Y-wing with very little results. That is the one costume I really want to complete, but there is just no available reference. Sorry I couldnt be more help but I will be checking in to see if anyone has anything about the y wing stuff.

For Celebration II I did a Y-Wing costume. Not exactly dead on but using the pics I had at the time and my early prop skills I pulled this off:

I used the rebel pilots cinema scene as the basis for the chest box. Since then, though, I believe the bottom portion is more of a soft pouch type piece with a hard triangle attached to the bottom.

I've been meaning to sculpt an A-Wing helmet for years. I'm stuck working on 501st trading card projects, though.

I asked Steve Sansweet to keep an eye out for Y-Wing box pics when he goes through the archives. He said they recently uncovered a bunch of unreleased stuff. Here's hoping.

Chris Duplis createad his B-Wing helmet by hacking up the Don Post pod racer helmet. It looked pretty good. His chest box was done well, too.
