Any custom builds?

You all do amazing work replicating well known props, but I was wondering if anyone has come up with their own designs just for the hell of it even though nobody would every recognize it or see it? when i was young, before i knew people like you existed, i would do this. I didn't know others found it interesting. :confused

Mostly made from MDF and the usual junk from the parts box !

Here's a custom saber I built out of hardware and a motorcycle grip 12 years ago. It was the first prop I built completely from scratch.

That looks like you updated on the Ghostbusters PKE design from The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters cartoons.

This was my very first... hardware only with ZERO power tool use... just parts and glue...

And this one built in under 24 hours as a personal challenge...

A custom made ghost trap - built from off the shelf parts and a little wood...

Custom PKE meter...

A custom blaster I made for a blade runner contest...

A custom 29th century tricorder... This one still beeps when the upper buttons are pressed...

Custom Star Trek engineering tools...

A custom firefly pistol that is still a work in progress...

And for big time giggles... a model Firefly that I made using one continuous piece of duct tape simply by folding it while watching Serenity... Mucho brew involved on this one too...

I could have sworn that there was a "Show off your custom built lightsaber" thread somewhere, but I couldn't find it. I found this the other day and it made me laugh. The last few times I dressed as a Jedi(no specific character) I just carried my ForceFX lightsaber. But this is one that I started building for a Halloween party. I had limited time and an even more limited budget, and I never really finished it. Now it's a little embarrassing, but I can't be the only one who has come up with something like this before they knew better.
