Lol!!! Sorry Art, your response made me laugh out loud! I am on so many different forums discussing so many different things, it's hard to keep track of what I read where, let alone what's rumor or fact. That's why I said in my original statement that I don't remember where I read the info, or even if it is true. I sincerely don't mean to start any rumors myself, but I suppose I unintentionally may have done just that. Lol! You, more than any one knows how many kit have been sold. Just hearing how many in my local Garrison ordered kits, as well as with in the 501st, not to mention the countless numbers of fans out there just wanting a good quality stormtrooper costume at a GREAT price, I'm sure countless thousands, if not tens of thousands of these kits were sold! Hell, I bought 2 myself, & almost bought 3! Sorry if I upset or mislead anyone by my previous post. That was not my intention. I was simply adding to what everyone has been speculating about regarding how many kits may have been sold by relaying something I recalled reading somewheres else.
It has been pretty funny watching the rumors fly, especially within the 501st groups. The amount of intrigue and speculation is astounding. Wasn't that many years ago that I was sitting on the other side of the fence, doing the same thing with Master Replicas, and looking back on it, I can't help but chuckle at how things have all turned out.

Well, if order numbers are anything to go by, then I'm in the 8000's, placed on May 3rd. With a couple of extensions to the special pricing, maybe not 30k, but 15-20k wouldn't seem crazy. Incidentally, I received a response to a ticket over the weekend - sounds like 2015 shipping is not likely as they mentioned 'preparing to receive incoming inventory' in December.
