So, apparently, the ANOVOS shadow stormtrooper kits have reached some people, anyone wanna post pics, when you ordered it, how it got to you, Fedex, UPS.... this seems very ramdon, people from California to Florida have received some, other people have not heard anything yet.....

I'll go first. 30 secs ago I just received a reply to my customer service ticket that I owed a $23 balance on top of the fed ex 2 day shipping i paid for in JULY 9 2015. so. i only got response after i opened a ticket, only after i saw east coasters got theirs, im in ct..... So. LAST ANOVOS ORDER, PERIOD....... wanna bet if its coming UPS 2 day? all in all, still a bargin at initial offering price... but their business model, and practices will not last. CAVEAT EMPROR

added..... the email from Anovos thanked me for my initial preorder that allowed them to fund other projects in development.... mother****ers! I PAID FOR A PRODUCT, i did not donate money for a cause like cancer research, and then to have the audacity to tell me to pony up some more cash for shipping..... frack them. thank god its the last trooper suit i need.....

Are you saying you got an actual "Additional Balance Due" notice for shipping from the Company?
After having paid the total at the initial price point?
Don't tell me you actually paid? That would be f'ed up.

I have the shadow helmet, full atat, and full snow trooper orders in.
No way I would pony up additional, having paid in full.

shipping charges change, most companies that take up front shipping do mention that if there is a significant difference they will charge you, not sure about anovos

YES,I paid the additional 23$ usd. . on top of the fedex 2 day shipping prepaid over one year ago, now instead of guaranteed 2 day fed ex, its ground UPS for twice the shiping cost.. no bother, less than 500$ usd is still a good deal If I ACTUALLY RECEIVE A SHADOW KIT. many reports have surfaced of shadow stormtrooper kit buyers receiving WHITE KITS. STAY TUNED. ANOTHER ANOVOS FRACK UP, pm GOTMAUL. because the mickey mouse views forum postings as "marketing" that is subject to prior approval. END NOTE. BUY FROM RPF MEMBERS. NOT LICENSEES....

Yep $375 for the shadow trooper. I had to pay $25 when switching from white to black.

My shadow trooper arrived....It was a TK...This has been a fiasco. Not very happy.

FWIW--from my understanding (and experience) all the shadow trooper kit buyers are being charged an additional amount for shipping. The original shipping amount was listed as an estimate, so that's not completely out of line. Lame, but not out of line. Also, the original invoices said we were paying for "Shipping (FedEx Ground Home Delivery):" but they're being shipped via UPS now. I'm going to assume the best and guess that Fedex must have raised their prices too much.

The debacle now is that a bunch of buyers have received white kits instead of black. I'm hoping that was just a bad day at the fulfillment center and that it won't become the norm. So far Anovos has been silent on the issue. More will be revealed.

EDITED TO ADD:
One persons experience was that they got on the customer service chat and received a return shipping label from them. Anovos said they would ship the correct kit once they saw the incorrect one was on it's way back. So it's looking hopeful that the issue will be fixed relatively quickly.

I think all you you receiving normal tk kits instead of shadow trooper kits should be able to keep the tk kits and anovos should also send you the shadow trooper on their dime or give a full refund. Gotmaul posted in another forum about hanging in there with them as they have been growing fast band are working out all the kinks but shipping the wrong item is bad. It.was.not like it was a one off thing. I sounds like it is happening to multiple people. So glad I passed on some anovos items I was looking at earlier this year. Now I won't have to deal with tee messes that are happening forms me who have preordered items.

i just received my SHADOW STORMTROOPER KIT, and it is a WHITE TK KIT 001. NOT A SHADOWTROOPER 002 kit. that I piaid for, I dod not change any orders, and have been advised of the shadow trooper kit 002 status the entire time......the Ups driver would not let me open it until i signed for it, eventhough the box said 001. So. I had to sign, and opened it infront of him.... ITS ANOTHER fraking WHITE TK UPS DRIVER advised contacting ANOVOS, and have ANOVOS send me a return label so I do not have to pay for return shipping....

how about this, send me the BLACK KIT, FIRST, AND A RETURN LABEL. for me to send back the white kit. trust your customers, as we had trusted ANOVOS....

I got a white TK instead of the shadow. I don't think I should get to keep the white TK, but I think they should have overnighted me the shadow out to me as a "sorry we messed up we will correct it right away". Instead they send me a label, I sent the white one back and was told it would ship to me today, not overnighted. I realize I am east coast and they are west coast, but I am still waiting for it to ship. If it doesn't go out today I am going to be really angry. Their customer service is terrible and they don't even want to do the small things like overnight it to make up for their mistake. Not to mention that they dinged me for more shipping in the first place. They will have few repeat customers. I was one, got the original TK and shadow, but this fiasco has really turned me off.

I have seen posts with real ones. The 1st wave of shipping appeared to have gone fine. Its this 2nd wave that they screwed the pooch.

just had a pleasant experience with cust support chat in getting a RA label. sending incorrect white kit back, expecting a shadow. fingers crossed. its the only option.........sad it happened this way, as its an inconvenience and a huge box, its not like its a jacket of a lightsaber

Apparently people in the fulfilment center just see a large box with "trooper" printed on it and don't read anything else on the box. Makes me worried about getting the correct TIE helmet that I ordered since there are two versions.

I guess this is good news for people that ordered white TK kits. They are in the states, they just need to get back to Anovos so they can ship them to the people that actually ordered them.
