ANOVOS issues (ANOVOS ONLY discussion)

That sentence is still on their site?!!! WAOwwwww.

So lame.

Also, someone screwy who is actually thinking of buying one of the cancelled Kylo costumes said he was told a couple weeks ago - by Anovos - that they are looking to ship to existing orders in Q4 still and hope to ship to "replacement" customers in Q12020.

None of that will happen of course.

But just insane they are still making claims that product will be delivered.

Due to our direct access to the filming prop, advanced research and development efforts, and stateside manufacturing capability we have produced a replica that could be used right on the set of The Mandalorian!"

I would say the above statement was accurate. They were poised and ready to "ship a product before the release of the show". It doesn't specify that the "product" was the helmet the rest of the page is about. I'm joking of course.

This has been pretty pathetic like the last few years with Anovos has been.

The only possible positive is that they had some issues in the production and are trying to correct it as opposed to sending poor quality products to meet a deadline. Some communication sure would help.

I wonder if Anovos or efx will actually deliver on a Mandalorian helmet before the show finishes it's final season. It's sad that Hasbro has become the only reliable source for licensed Star Wars helmets.

Actually Anovos has been extremely reliable in delivering product as long as you are talking about Disney to resell at Galaxy's Edge. To actual Anovos pre-order customers, absolutely not.
 
After waiting this long, Ive given up. The desire to acquire a First Order TK has long passed and it took 12 weeks of constant emails to even get recognized as wanting a refund. Good ol charlie though, the one man show. So until I DO get that notification and am finally done with Anovos and I have back what I paid in a few years ago, Disney and Anovos will be constantly barraged by reminders. This company (so called) is an absolute joke and a farce. Ill never use them or anyone else who does pre-orders, because the trust is gone. Shame to all those who might have good product. but unless its guaranteed in stock, forget it.
 
We all should have gotten on Mimic’s run. At least he’s sending out partisan pieces and responding to people now lol [emoji23]

I have to say the Hasbro Poe helmets we repainted and added greeblies and new decals on worked so well I troop with it all the time with my TFA Pilot. When I saw the videos of the resistance pilots at Anaheim and Orlando I couldn’t help but wonder if they did the same for their cast members. After watching the latest movie, no spoilers, the one thing I was disappointed in was seeing armor on screen, and not getting what I paid for with Anovos. I will never, ever buy direct from them again. Other makers on the RPF, you have my preorder because we know who you are, and we have seen what you deliver. Anovos, buy nothing.
 
A friend of mine signed up on the Kylo costume list and was told that new customers (purchasing costumes that were made for now cancelled orders) would be getting their shipments in Q1 of 2020 after original customers get their Kylo costumes in Q4 of 2019.

What?!!! Anovos said this last week with only about 10 days left in the year!!!!

Anyway, he decided AGAINST.

And based on this Sith Trooper statue it looks like they were also working for ROS promo.
Still waiting for my 2017 FOTK. :)
