It's from one of the Special previews, or sneak peeks, or one of those. But the scene is less than ten minutes in and is our first glimpse of Rey, so no spoilers regardless.
Guys... I just got word from a very nice rep at Anovos (who usually responds to my messages, even if it takes a while) that my Solo TFA jacket would be shipping within a week, then a few minutes later, this email arrived:
The rep actually told me a few weeks ago that things were about to start moving, but I figured I'd hold off reporting it here until something more solid surfaced. I was also told today that this is just the start of them filling in their backlog. It's a Festivus miracle!
I know it's been very easy to hate on them for a long time now, but if this is for real, which it certainly appears to be, and a sign of things to come, I'm genuinely happy both for them and all of use that are waiting for things.

Wow ! I have moved since then and have asked them to change my shipping address. I did get told that these would be shipping but I didnt exactly believe them.
When did you order yours by chance?
I can't recall exactly when, but pretty much as soon as they were announced.
Honestly, if this IS the beginning of them truly making things right, I'm genuinely happy for them.
I certainly hope so. Currently awaiting the confirmation of my address change.
Yea I moved too since I placed my order about 2 years ago. I've repeatedly tried to update my shipping address and sent multiple emails with 0 response. Well if my helmet ever ships I can be confident knowing that some lucky person will get a free helmet.
They shipped my Ghostbuster kit order only after PayPal got involved. They magically shipped when I reported them not sending my "in-stock" item.
I asked them what was up with the order and never heard back from them so. PayPal was contacted. PayPal took care of me.
I still have many orders that are "unfulfilled" . I will never order from them again.."in-stock" or pre-order.

I just got a bill for shipping for my Solo jacket. There is an option to update your shipping address on the invoice.
Did you pay in full or were you on the interest list?
I ordered the day it went live.
I ordered pretty quickly back in 2017. I'm just hoping they confirm my new address or email first before shipping. This would be a very unexpected surprise, as I imagined it would never see the light of day.
I've looked at my invoice at least 50x, where is the option to update my address?
When you click the link in the email that takes you where you enter your cc info for shipping there is a change option next to your name.

I can understand waiting to post this BUT - I do have a suggestion...
As stated above, many of us are moving or have moved and Anovos starting to ship these without enough of a "heads up" status report is a bit much.
So if any of you (us) have received "shipping now/ soon" notices can you please post them here so that we can wake up from this years long slumber in order to stay on top of it?
I truly feel that if Anovos enters into the excitement of a peeing puppy over finally "coming through" they will be too busy with congratulating themselves and might send some things to defunct addresses.
I am glad that Joatrash FX is happy for them. For real.
Hard for me to even imagine faking it let alone feeling it.

Man, this thread is like watching people in an abusive relationship. As long as the abuser keeps promising to be better, the past is forgiven. And even if they do get better, that shouldn't absolve them of what colossal ******** they are. No one/ business deserves to continue to be in business after **** like this.

That is why I've said I will never order direct from them again and will only buy from 3rd party sellers with the item in stock.
Looks like some folks got a lot of carbon scoring in their stockings.
Comparing actual human suffering and abuse to people not getting some material products in a reasonable time-frame? Maybe they don't deserve to be in business after all this, and I'm certainly not alone in being wary of placing new orders until, at the very least, all things have been squared.
But what kind of person comes in here and begrudges some good news after all the crap that has been going on in this thread, and a possible (if current indications prove true) tale of redemption? I usually try to stay out of fights around here, the RPF is my happy creative place, and I'm not especially sentimental about the yuletide season, nor am I especially forgiving of certain actions people take, but to be so petty... that is pathetic.
Try having to force-feed a dying loved one liquid food in a futile attempt to give them strength enough to fight the infection that is killing them, only to have to watch them die in your arms a few days later. Maybe that will give you some perspective.
