Anovos could have used the opportunity to extend a decent percentage off to all those customers left hanging for two years but instead they want to play games. Sorry people with lives, jobs, families.
I hope those Solo rigs are being stored in decent place. They have been in the states a year now. I better not get one that has dry rotted by the time it gets here.

Three strikes and I'm out. I don't have all day at my office to sit hitting refresh on my e-mail for another shot at this helmet.
So irritating. This was a total impulse buy on my part and Anovos seriously gave me enough aggravation and delay to decide NOT to get it. Great marketing job guys.

If I was waiting two years for a product and the company was doing fire sales of the little product they have on hand? I would be livid....Pretend as much as they like, they just clearly don't have their priorities straight. It's just not confidence inspiring.
As I mentioned before.. I really loved the F/O trooper. If they can deliver a product that is quality? I'll pick it up second hand or on Amazon when they have the actual product on hand.. But I will never, EVER, preorder or purchase from Anovos again. There is just no trust there from me.

Nailed it in one. No more pre-orders for me. I'm done.
Just cancelled my proton pack pre-order as well. So, long story short - Anovos just lost over $800 in sales because they can't do what they hyped. I'm not the first to do and I seriously doubt I'm going to be the last at the rate things are going.

The email with the codes says some are only valid for a single use. Most likely the 50% and probably a low number of uses on the 15% as well. This isn't unusual. Lots of stores do promotions where you might get up to a big percent off or win a big prize. Very few people actually get the big prize.
I wouldn't use the codes unless I would be happy with the one most people would get. If I get the better discount, that's great.

I have gotten no such email update! The TIE torso has been cancelled?! Is that the chest armor? Cause I've got that on order... or at least I thought I did! I've not heard peep one about it.

What's funny to me is that one of the codes do work for 50% off, but they only have a small allotment. Others are valid for 10 and 15 and 20% off I believe it was..... Well who the heck is going to use ANY of those other codes knowing there was an opportunity to get the 50% off? I was immediately turned off when the 4 out of 5 times I did try to use the codes when I got the emails and all the special 50% codes were used in an instant. I didn't want to order it at that point. If I can't get the 50% then I'm not biting!
It was a poorly done promo. What they should have done was issue an e-mail with the 50% off code and say first come first served and call it good. EIther you got it or not. It was very annoying going through every single code to try and find the right one, only to see it was no longer valid.

I had ordered the ensemble with the helmet. I was going to make it a point to visit the Anovos booth at SDCC in hopes of holding the helmet. If it wasn't all it was cracked up to be I was going to cancel the order and get the ensemble without the helmet and just modify my Black Series helmet. After getting some hands on time with it I was completely satisfied with my original purchase. It just has a solid quality that I can't wait to wear and display. I can't imagine that the Prop Shop helmet could be that much better. But then again they wouldn't let me hold that one.

There is going to be a bunch of people who do not know anything about Anovos or this board and really believe that. They are intentionally misleading customers... again.
I also think it is pretty crappy that the website does not go into the real issues why an item is being delayed. At the current estimate, the reason for the Solo Rig being delayed (Safety/Packaging) has been practically unchanged for almost one year now. Coming here with a sob story is not an accurate update. They know how to get the word out about every new item they pre-sell. Why can't they do the same for their ongoing orders (because they would look like a failing company if they did)?
But hey... Why should I stop people from pre-ordering. I need you guys to help fund my order. You just know that they went way over budget on the Solo Rig (and other long over due items). Two years of production costs (time is money), storage costs of rigs that have been sitting in the states for a year now, and who knows what other unexpected issues that cost money to fix. After all, the money I (and you, and you, and you, and you...) sent them have been spent traveling and renting convention tables so they can get celebrities to put on their prototypes and take pictures. Or for them to fund enough prototypes so they can ensure they have their costumes and armor inter closet. Remember all the FO Armor walking around celebration last year? I got a pretty good idea where those suits ended up.
So please keep sending them your money. I need to ensure they have enough funds on hand so they don't go bankrupt before my stuff arrives.

Doesn't matter what you have seen at this point. It's a prototype. The end result can change little or dramatically.

That's practically what this whole thread is about. Anovos doesn't know what a deadline is. They choose a date in which that is just enough out there so that people will send them money, and then move that date to another timeframe that make them think it just a short delay. Then keep doing it until people feel like they have waited so long, they need to see it through till the end. If they told people the true times, hardly anyone would send them money. And then they would have to invest their own money like any other real business.
I NEVER got any email codes. Thanks Anovos so helpful. :facepalm

Yea I double checked to make sure I had previously subscribed. I had. Yet no emails with codes. They probably only sent them to people who had pre ordered items first.
