As of July 21, 2020, we have begun the long-planned process of consolidating our fulfillment operations – all items going forward will ship from our facilities in Texas. Therefore, we are temporarily suspending the fulfillment of in-stock items while this logistics transition takes place.
Worry not, we will announce at a later date when we will resume regular shipping operations. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these extraordinary times.
P.S. We want to sincerely thank all the front line postal operators across the globe for the dedication and commitment they show in continuing to deliver. Connecting people through packages has never been more critical during this pandemic.

Should be a pretty short transition period since they are moving 0 units that they have "in-stock" from California to Texas. That is unless they use the ghost ship that was bringing all our FOTK kits here 2 years ago.

Apparently the Royal Guard helmets are being sent out gradually. I got an email due to being on the interest list, saying that they had a handful in stock and asking me to reply for an invoice to claim one.

Since I actually want this helmet, and since long, long ago somebody at Anovos told me (way back when I first asked for a refund) that I could receive some sort of substantial discount on any in-stock item if I chose to get store credit instead of cash back, I asked what sort of discount I could get.

Surprisingly, they responded within about a day. Unsurprisingly, they said that the helmets are not, in fact, “in-stock,” and as such they could offer no discount on them whatsoever.

I'd like to snag one as well but waiting for BBTS or someone to actually have it.

I think it’s about $100 cheaper at places like that, and the shipping is likely to be less (never mind the ridiculous “handling” fee that Anovos likes to tack on, from what I remember from when they actually shipped me things instead of just taking my money and running.)

I so regret getting involved with these losers.

Right now trying to remember who the jerk was out here who at one point accused me of acting "entitled" over all this.

That’s just messed up! Anovos is offering in stock orders before fulfilling the original orders? I placed my order on the first day it was offered. I actually did that on more than a dozen other items stretching back over 3 years now. I’ve really tried to hold my tongue and stay positive throughout all their nonsense but hearing this just shows me how desperate and unscrupulous they really are.

Sounded a bit more like they tried to get extra people to give them money without actually having anything in stock, even though they said it was in stock.

that exchange sounded a lot like:
Anovos: We have the RG helmet in stock if you'd like to get one
Person: (can't use the word customer because that implies an actual transaction would take place)
Person: Ok, sounds good.
Anovos: That'll be $500 (or whatever, i'm not looking it up)
Person: Yeah, i have store credit and they said if I used that i'd get a discount on the purchase.
Anovos: Let me check.....(pause)....yeah, we found that here. Here's your new price ($400)
Person: Sounds good, lets do that.
Anovos: Ok....(pause)....oops, looks like it's not in stock after all sorry about that. Bye.

Sadly, i can't state with any certainty that had you agreed to pay full price and use a CC that they'd have charged you and said it was going to be delivered soon, only to not to squat.

Yes, I should clarify, this is what the email said-

Thank you for expressing your interest in this exciting product. We are pleased to notify you that the first batch of are available for purchase!

We are contacting customers as a number of units are made available to ship, and only that number of customers will be contacted. This is to ensure that once you make your purchase, your order will begin packing to ship with as little delay as possible.

If you are interested in owning one of these Original Trilogy helmets, please reply here to receive a personal invoice. This invoice will only be good for 3 days, to allow customers time to see the email and respond. If you do not remit payment towards your invoice within the allotted time frame, you will be moved to the back of the line and the next person following you will be communicated to with the same offer. We will continue this method until our raw materials are exhausted.

Five units are currently available for purchase. Reply here to be one of the first to own one now!
I suppose that technically it does not say that they are “in stock.” But I don’t know why they would be selling them five at a time if they aren’t. In any event, I’m going to assume that people who preordered right when they first became available will still be the first to receive them, and that this is just a silly tactic to try to get sales with some sort of faux urgency.

And this was the response when I asked about my long-promised discount:
This helmet is not in stock in the sense that you are referring to. The offer you were told about (likely by Charlie) refers to items that are 'in stock' on our website. This helmet is in stock at our manufacturing facility, but 'Interest List' on our website so I would not be able to offer you a discount on it. In reference to the discount you were offered however, those tend to be between 25-40% depending on the item in question.
The funny thing about this is that Anovos regularly has been offering discounts of at least 40% on every in stock item to everyone. So, whatever. Honestly, I would have accepted even just the $100 discount that places like BBTS are currently selling the helmet at, even though I’d probably have been paying some ridiculous amount for shipping directly from Anovos. But I’m not going to keep trying to throw more money at them if they aren’t gonna work with me even a little bit, especially after playing around with this refund for so long.

IT MMMOOOORRRREEEE THAN STATES THEY ARE IN STOCK!!! IT SAYS - [and is intended to sound this way] - THAT IT IS SITTING IN PERSON'S LAP AND THAT YOU HAD BETTER GET IT RIGHT NOW!!!!

"In stock" is actually a downgrade from what they write!!

Why o why o why did this whole community at some point actually tacitly agree that it is common and accepted for prop runs, big and small, to go waaaay over estimated wait times? And dammit, I'm not talking about a guy who doesn't know how long it will take or someone who says 1 month and it takes 2. You know that. And you know what I mean.

I mean when a dealer says 6 months and 2 years later, upon being confronted, says, "oh well I have kids."

That kind of dynamic has to stop - especially now that it has extended itself to the professional (supposedly) arena.

The problem is your always going to have people who are more than willing to give them their money. The Mando helmet is a perfect example of this as it seemed a lot of people were more than willing to order one not knowing if it would ever be delivered. I also think it is despicable that they are making and delivering new products while people have been waiting years for orders they already paid for. I know MR had some problem near the end but they never took your money until the item was ready to ship and I really miss that which is why I will only buy Anovos and EFX products on the secondary market.

"... not in stock in the sense you're referring to"??? What kind of bull sh** is that!?!

I want the Royal Guard helmet desperately, & I think the ANOVOS helmet looks stunning. But, BUT, with that kind of response I don't even think I want to buy one through 3rd party. How insulting!
I'm still out money for the ANOVOS Red 5 helmet. I've written it off as lost. I will NEVER give this company of thieves another penny. May they go out of business & be thrown into the trash bin of forgotten history.

I know since I got all my money refunded (not by Anovos!) I don’t really have any stake in this business any more, but I do keep up with this thread.
Was thinking to myself it’s staggering and beyond comprehension that things have got to this stage and these people are still operating. Just saying!

Right?! I am very curious how it is possible for them to still be in business and how they can still hold the SW licence. With all the crap they have been pulling for years, I would have thought Disney would have noped out of that agreement a long time ago.

The mouse probably doesn't care unless the feds aren't paid....
