In the past 2 weeks I’ve received 3 emails “answering“ my question about GE and BBTS selling products I ordered years ago. Answeromg is in quotes because they just send links to the “shipping” calendar. An old saying about a tiger and a stick comes to mind......

Same. I had asked for an update to Kylo Ren a while back since the blog said "As we get further updates, I will try to share with you as much as I know, both the issues and successes, so that you can be assured we are moving forward". It's been several months so I figured surely there must be some update by now, be it an issue or a success.

But all they've got for a reply is "Q1 2020" as if they haven't told me Q1 2017, Q1 2018, and Q1 2019 before.
 
I got a second email about a question from October. Still waiting to see if I can exchange my jacket for larger size.

I make stands for my Anovos helmets. How are you attaching the post to the base? I just drill a hole part way into the base. Sometimes the post is wobbly because it is a little too skinny for the hole. Wrapping electrical tape helps but doesn't seem ideal.

Does Anovos still send coupons with purchases? I cancelled several old orders for store credit. These were the AT-AT helmet and Sandtrooper helmet. I decided to go with the RS Props versions. I plan on ordering non-OT items that Anovos makes. Please send me a PM if you have a code I could use.

I use these particle board screws through the bottom of the base and wood glue.

I didn't get a coupon this last time when I bought the mando helmet.

Hard to tell in that lighting, but they appear to be more flush with the head as opposed to angling out. Of course until anyone gets them in hand or has better photos, it's such a slight difference it's hard to say for certain. I know that on the promotional pictures the EFX one doesn't for sure while the Anovos does, but we all know what Photoshop can do lol.
 
The real helmet’s ears definitely have a gap. The issue with the Anovos appears to be that the ears flare out at an angle, where the EFX and real helmets have a parallel gap.

The EFX, being cast from the real masters, I believe they will almost certainly be correct. Judging by their promo pics and that video, it appears to be the case. We’ll have to see when more photos come out, but I think it’s a safe bet.

Ok saw the video of the helmet unboxing. At first glance looks like it will accurate based on the scans they did from the ones being used for the show. The guys are not good at doing any kind of review. The camera is to far away to make out any details and then there isn’t enough lighting either again makes hard to see details. If they do anymore unboxing they need to get better at it or why bother doing an unboxing. Customers people investing in a quality replica want to see it all and up close not off I the distance geez. Hopefully they start shipping soon and everyone gets their helmet. Overall the video was okay at least we saw it.

Ok a bit of a head's up for people who have requested refunds in the past. I requested a refund for my 9 paid items >1 year ago. I have not received any refunds or items since then (none of the items have shipped out to anybody). One of the items was the Kylo Ren helmet. When I saw people were receiving them and it showed In Stock on the site I thought to myself "Well, I never got a refund so I should be hearing info on this item shipping to me soon!". Nothing from Anovos about it after a couple of weeks SO I sent in 2 brand new customer service emails on the site asking if I would be receiving the item. FINALLY heard back yesterday. It seems because I had requested a refund I was not on the list to receive one but since I had reached out I'll be able to receive one of the available ones.

Now, I have no idea why they would not be automatically be keeping this stuff in mind for those people that have not received refunds to keep up customer appearances but it seems they aren't. SO, if you see an item you never got a refund for shipping and you would like the item, send in an email right away and don't wait!
