Another Prop Room / Shrine - Recent pics August

Re: Another Prop Shrine - err, room

A great collection, and very nicely displayed. (Sometimes people forget about putting the display together well, which can make it look a little chaotic! Yours looks slick!)

Re: Another Prop Shrine - err, room

Definitely one of the best looking collection rooms i've seen in a while

Re: Another Prop Shrine - err, room

I spy with my little eye a red MJOLNIR Mk VI Helmet from the Halo series. :D

Re: Another Prop Shrine - err, room

Really nice collection, impressively displayed. I like the lighting on the ceiling--really highlights stuff. I assume that's custom.

Re: Another Prop Shrine - err, room

Amazing... very well done and you can tell you care for all these collectibles.

Re: Another Prop Shrine - err, room

Geez, this is some cherry stuff. Great job, I hope to own a collection as amazing as this one one day myself!

Some of my latest additions below. Major desk overhaul later this month so look for some crazy pics in October.

New stand for the AES Helmet and the big acquisition of the year, a 2001 bucket...

QMX Viper and a Richard Long StarFury in the background. Need to run power to those ships..

Steve Neil Blockade Runner. Loving the low cost Panavise mounts. Slight modification and you can run power cords through them

District 9 Assault Rifle. Tremendous bang for the buck. This thing is huge.

Ennis Tile from Gordon Gekko... need to figure how to best mount the blaster to it.

Steve Neil NX-01 with a huge backdrop. The plan is to add some related items to the background.

After a VERY long wait, I was shocked this finally came in. A FettDad Blaster.

Not shown but my favorite toy these days - a Richard Coyle PPG from Babylon 5. It looks like what you would expect but placing the power module in results in the EXACT sound you would expect from a PPG. Extremely realistic - Kudos to Rich.

Re: Another Prop Shrine - September Update

Beautiful collection! I love those Star Wars helmets lined up like that.

Re: Another Prop Shrine - September Update

Simply amazing!! I think I drooled a little lol. I'd love for my setup to be like that. I don't have nearly that many props but things are already starting to look kind of crowded and not really organized.

Re: Another Prop Shrine - September Update

I recently acquired a ZPM from a fellow RPFer. These are hard to display but I eventually settled on a custom case to match the screen used version. For now the LEDs are laying under the ZPM so one can pick it up without dealing with wires. I may look into a seperate internal lighting source with a tilt sensor. Still need to add some paint/decals and a metal insert but its coming along.

Re: Another Prop Shrine - September Update

Just finished painting up a replica BSG intercom.... Learned a few lessons on this one which I'll correct on the real speaker versions. Decals were made with brushed aluminum decal overlaid with transparent laser printer adhesive.

If anyone bought one of these from MRK, PM me if you need the graphics for the upper and lower plates (no cost). The lower plate pictured here will be corrected to be in alignment with the screws.

The com "bar" decal was made by Bobatrek...
