Another obscure Star Wars costume

I happened to see that it is approved. Not that I ever doubted that it would be. :)

You never know! Pete Solo(the RL costume judge who approves smugglers) is pretty hard-line on standards! :)

And BTW, that's not a dig at Pete- the RL has really upped its game in recent years by upholding high costume standards because of folks like Pete. No more T-shirt Han Solos!:thumbsup

Been following the thread for a couple days... but never took the time to say Great Job! :thumbsup

According to the EU or some card game, Bo Shek owned a droid. Maybe your next project?

I was aware of this and I've always wanted to build an R4 droid. However, I don't have the money or energy to start another droid project right now! Maybe some day...

For now, I'll postulate that BoShek traded in his R4 for a 'slightly used' R5 from the Jawas when we was on Tatooine. :)

Very nice! I'm a big fan of the obscure costumes.

I dressed as an obscure 'Mystery Men' character once (Radio Man).

Obscure characters are great, especially when you get that one or two people who correctly ID you! As long as you go into understanding that few will know who you are, it can be fun.

amazing! Even the haircut and sideys are accurate! And unlike a Vader costume, where everyone knows the details down to the inch you won't be getting much if any nitpicking. I love this costume and love the figure Hasbro put out a few years ago.
Let's see some more background SW characters.

Apparently I'm not one of the cool kids. I didn't know that character right away. But my husband looked over my shoulder and said, "Hey, BoShek. Nice."

I recognized the costume but didn't know the name or remember exactly where the character appeared in the movie. Thanks to wookieepedia, now I know.

The sideburns really do complete the costume!

Just finished this one. This is a costume to flush out who the really cool people are at a convention- only they will know who this is...

Great Job, Mark! I certainly recognized it, because I have been studying all the Bo Shek images in my efforts to accurately reproduce Bossk (as the suits are nearly the same). Have you seen the photo recently posted on the Bounty Hunter Guild Bossk forum by Wolfie? This seems to be the real suit you are doing, and even the stitching is visible in the photo. I think Bo's suit is actually the same 'RAF blue' like this one, but lighting made it appear black or dark navy blue.
