Great job!
BoShek has a very cool costume. He's not super obscure to SW fans - he did feature in a few comics and had a short story in one of the paperbacks.
Not as obscure as the Ice Cream Man.

Within the context of the movie itself, we don't know if he's a good guy or a bad guy. But in all the EU materials, he's been labeled a smuggler, so that makes him Rebel Legion. In fact, I've just submitted this costume to RL and awaiting approval. I'm sure I could convince somebody at 501st to accept the costume based on something 'bad' BoShek has done in comic or something, but it really doesn't matter either way.

'Oddly Awesome' is certainly a good description! I suppose that's what I was going for all along (but then that also decribes a lot of SW costumes!).

I have those comics on the way and I'm looking forward to reading more of his story (character research!
). I have 'Tales from the Cantina' somewhere that I need to read. With all respects to obi1kenny, it seems that BoShek is the Elvis of the Star Wars universe- maybe its just the combo of the sideburns and the black suit. I should get some groovy Elvis glasses to go with the outfit!
In an odd way, it seems to me that more people know about the ICMG than BoShek.

That is an awesome costume. I've always wanted to do that character from the first time I saw it. Do you think you could do a build thread on the helm for those of us taht would want to do something similar?

Hmmm... I can post some more pics, but I'm not sure I can illustrate how it went together because its all rivited/glued together. I'll see what I can do!
It may help more to gather and post some pics of the original helmet its based on.
