The king of blasters Odiwan72 is selling one. If I had the spare cash it would be gone!

Don't give up on finding an MGC. I thought I never would until one turned up on eBay and I decided it was going to be mine. Best eBay auction I ever won.

50,000 +..! Wow, I can only imagine the fascinatingly amazing things that could be in your archive. :D

As far as I know the hovi mix tip hasn't been identified yet. I know there's some screen-used cast resin tips around in collectors hands from Stunt trooper helmets, but the only real hovi tip I've seen other than the one you just posted is off of a screen-used Hero ANH helmet used for the eFx Stormtrooper legend edition helmet. But there might be more that I'm unaware of.

To me it looks like a faucet aerator.

Hovi is Swedish for mix, so all we need now is a plumber from the 70's...

That's pretty common knowledge nowadays.

I hope our friend Jason Joiner , joins us again soon... anxiously waiting for more great photos.

What a coincidence! I was just recently looking at the aerators in Lowes and wondering the same thing. After that I posted in a UK plumbing forum asking about the hovi mix tip to see if anyone recognized it..which unfortunately didn't go very well at all. Oddly enough every reply was either rude or sarcastic, and I ended up leaving their forum slightly offended. :lol

Well i'm a little closer I hope. The faucet aerators are usually short but the dishwasher adapters are longer. The originals are white plastic which looks like the insert on this unit.

Re: ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion - Three ANH Greeblies FOUND, Update in 1st Post

ok... here are some of the finished parts. These are the Anodized Aluminum and Brass parts. The Steel still needs to be Black Ox'd over the weekend.

Only a few small parts yet to be made! Should be shipping very soon!

Note the FHs. One is RAW (bright) and one is anodized HC. We made it light colored so you can color as you like but still has the hard coat for protection. If we made it darker, it would be harder to lighten. A light black/gray spray and some 000 steel wool and it should look perfect!

Note the Mineral Glass lens in the pic and the very thin lens retaining ring with the slots. You will assemble the lens into the larger brass holder and screw the retainer ring to hold it in place. Then that entire assembly goes into the scope body... just like the real one.

The scope body will not have that brass ring sticking out like the pic. That is just to show the threaded brass end. It gets slipped in further and secured with a set screw.

Dave also added an adjustment screw (unseen) for the knob so you can adjust the tension!

ENJOY!

It has been identified I suppose, just an exact match has not been found.

To me it looks like a faucet aerator.

No, it isn't Swedish for "mix". It is Finnish for "house".
That it is a faucet part has been mentioned years ago. I know people in Finland have been looking for a matching aerator without success.

Hi Art

You definately are TOO busy if you missed this ;)
Take a closer look at the tintin part on the rear end of the upper receiver...see the glue residues? Seem like there was something attached to originally, maybe another audio-plug or some kind of "scope"?!

Jaaaaason!!!!
Where are the additional pics you announced. Pretty please :cool

First part has a great fit. Nice and tight even without glue!
