I was #20 and just wanted to thank Jason1976 for this contest. I had a great time making my saber (my first saber build and the only saber in my collection) I also want to thank the 5 people that voted for my saber. Everyone did a great job with their builds I loved seeing what everyone came up with. I will post a build thread soon

I was #5, thanks to those who voted. This was the first build contest I ever entered and basically the first thing I ever presented to the RPF, so I'm happy with the turnout. I threw my saber together very quickly and it showed, so that's what I get for trying to beat the clock. Thanks for all those who put this together, I love this sorta thing - prizes or not, it's fun to think outside the box.

Um, I'm a little past confused on how the prizes are being doled out, so I'll just wait to see what happens.

I completely understand. :lol

All but one set of prizes has been spoken for by the first 4 placers (first, second, third, and forth.) The final prize pack goes to number #2 ( witch hold fifth place) it's the nifty Obi-wan saber built by............. Well I'll let him tell you. If he wants it. I'll give him a few days to post if he wants it.

So, in other words, for the time being, all the prizes, are taken. If you weren't in the top 5, you are not going to get a prize other then the saber you built.

I really would have liked to have had prizes for everyone (even just something small) but I did what I could, with the time I had. Next time, I would like to either have a huge grand prize, or have enough for everyone to get something, but again, I only had a couple weeks between the time I decided to do this, and the time I started the contest. (I did leave it open for more prizes to be donated, but no more came in after the contest started.)

Though, I really, truly, can't thank those that did donate prizes enough. They did donate some great stuff. (I know i would have loved to have won a few of the items up for grabs. )

I kept some of the more interesting looking pieces. I have that habit though. I'll see something at a thrift store (Like an old nixie tube calculator I just bought) and will be like "I might be able to use this later"
