We Americans have enough trouble reading as it is. Correct spelling would just confuse people as they wouldn't know how to pronounce it, Saber = "Say Bur" and Sabre = "Say Bree". :unsure

Yup. Def just see "Sob Ray" when I see Sabre. American english requires a vowel directly after the consonant in order to make the first vowel "hard", which Sabre doesn't have. w00t for our American ignorance!! :lol

:eek Must you people make this so difficult? OK, I'd rather have a bunch of cool ones to choose from, but I hate only being able to choose one.

All of the sabres had their good points and individual charm, and while I'd like to note the others that caught my eye(and nearly my vote as well), I'll keep it simple and only mention the one I'm voting for...

#20, but only by a hair. In the end, it was the timeworn appearance of it that got me, like there was a real story behind it(not necessarily a great story, but one that would still hold inspiration, and not a small bit of wisdom as well).

This is a fantastic contest with some beautiful results! I'm torn between a few, but I think I've got to go with #7. The build quality really shines through, wonderfully thought out and executed.
