Thanks Stu. If anyone sees it, please let me know. THis is what I have. Are the other pieces chrome? Those are hard to see on the scan.

was wondering whether the rim shown above is part of Tamiya Yardley McLaren M23 (Ford) 1974 at all? On other parts of the engin deck I'd fully agree, those rims are the ones as shown below. But on these the outer profile does not match in my eyes and also the center part is square, whereas in the scans (and on other parts of the deck) the center is more roundish:

But maybe I just over-interpret that image :)

EDIT: sorry, just to clarify: I'm referring to the big round wheel rim part, not the little round 'unknown' part discussed before!

You thinking the Elf wheels instead?

Try Yardley McLaren M23 part# 6D -- I'm not guaranteeing it, but that's what my notes say.
I see it now. Thank you. Hard to tell form the scans, but once you put the two together it lines up. :)
I'm going to update that and change the center rims to the Elf rims. I think I only have one more part then the engine deck should be finished.

All those arrowed brown parts are in it!.
Yep. It's on my list. Santa I think has covered most of the 1:24 Airfix planes and a pressure pot for casting. Then I'll pick this one up. I'm trying to concentrate on the kits used in the mandible pits right now.

The Texaco vintage M23 is a Falcon staple kit. A huge number of parts used & one of the first donor kits you should get towards your stash.
