An RPF Open Source 5 ft Millennium Falcon Build/Reference Thread. All Are Welcome

It has always bothered me. It seems off just enough to mess with your head. Maybe I'll "idealize" it. :)
Hey it's your baby. You can do it any way you want. For myself I'm afraid if make them parallel, the falcon police will come to my house and vaporize me, LOL. But again, there are areas where all these things can be our own. Especially in the innards. My armature will be nothing like the original, but nobody will see that. Keep up the good work, Cheers,
Joe

Ah you got the ABS right? I could only get hold of an acrylic one.. so I have to be carefull 'milling out' the edge.
Where you also amazed by the size. (It's really different when you have it in your hands. At least... thats what I thought :) )

Thanks that's the one. Prefer the abs also. That darned acrylic is so brittle. Thanks,

Joe

Acrylic IS brittle, I can assure you! I got both, because I really love the idea of having the acrylic one in order to see the other side as you apply the greeblies on the opposite side, in order to position everything just right. But I got the ABS in case my milling out of the acrylic edge goes south. So it's mill first, THEN apply greeblies. In Japan they have a phrase, "Kumano!" as in, "It's a bear."

The blue piece with the red X is a 1:35 scale. The other piece with the red X appears to be the same width. Safe to assume it's the 1:35 Centurion and not the 1:25?
Thanks!

Great comment. When I first saw this, I thought that my “greeblie dealer“ had gone off the deep end. Was going to motorized it, but now think it could hurt someone.
