This appears to be one that was displayed at the Paul Allen (EMP) Museum for a time
Us that the one that's supposedly screen matched to The Cloud Minders? Whats the consensus on that one, real, fake?

Like I said earlier in this thread. There were 75 set used, hero phasers and 92 mid-grades, we all know that!
If a phaser was actually one of her ‘favorite things’ I would hate her .00347% less!Surely a few dozen more than that will show up! Wah was sent buckets of them to repair (but never returned them), and every guest-star and their kid got to take one home from the set.
"YOU get a phaser! And YOU get a phaser! And YOU get a phaser!"

With RJS & JPL both producing such convincing replicas it sure murkies the waters.
That's true as long as the actual prop is the jein phaser which is the base to compare with.It also makes it easy to identify fakes, bases on the tells of the parts as compared to actual TOS props.

"The auction phaser was repaired/repainted, which is why it looks different today"
*********I’ll just park this here…
Lot Detail - Original Type-2 Phaser Pistol from “Star Trek”, the Original Series. From The Collection Of Nichelle Nichols.
I saw this posted by a member over at the TFW; another apparent Phaser auction for your review.
This appears to be one of the Midgrade Phasers that were reported to have been Nichelle Nichols’.

Or failing that, you'd think they'd liquidate their assets while they're still alive, since cash is easier to divide among your heirs.Isn’t it funny that as soon as one of the actors dies, all of the original props show up in their private collections. You would think they would be passed down to their children and grandchildren instead.
Is it just me, or is the nozzle (seemingly familiar) and the trigger just a little too polished considering the rest of it?
She used it as a fidget spinner. Friction polish. Is it just me, or is the nozzle (seemingly familiar) and the trigger just a little too polished considering the rest of it?
