Aliens Bug Stomper

Too Much Garlic

Just bought this and was wondering if anybody had any good, clean reference pictures of the artwork as seen on the side of the dropship in Aliens?

It's gonna look good as a backdrop to this new little something I've been slowly working on from leftover super sculpey from split apart sculpts.

WOW... that original artwork shot is a LOT different than the shirt print, which in turn looks a lot like the style seen on the plaque I bought.

Thanks for posting.

I believe there is a clear shot of the drawing in the extra feature section of the quadrilogy dvd set... gonna go watch that one of these days... just a bit busy, so if anyone beats me to it and post it that'd be super cool! :thumbsup

I was lucky to stumble across mine on eBay, actually being sold by a member here. I have no info on who made it or anything as I forgot to ask.

That was originally sculpted and cast by Wross Smith for his company called GraveWax.

Sadly, he died a few years ago.

He did three in this line, the Bug Stomper, USCSS Nostromo and a USCM screaming eagle, these later two being patterned after the patches.

Thanks for the additional info. Sad to hear of his passing. The plaque I got is really marvellous, so he did great work - lots of tiny details.

He did indeed do great work. I have the Bug Stomper as well as the other two which he made, all of them are so crisp and clean.

Would love to see the other two, as when I stumbled upon the plaque I bought, it was the first time I had seen or heard of this.
