Thanx for the kind words guys.

Currently i'm finishing up the refurbed hull, prepping it for molding, but that's going really slow due to work commitments. The weeks before xmas are always a killer for the sparetime activities.

It's been ages since I looked at your build thread, Wasili. Glad to see you're still crunching through the parts for what will be a stunner of a model. I hope everything goes well for you work-wise and that you're able to get this large, time consuming project safely over the 'finish line', both for your own personal satisfaction and that of the guys who are chomping at the bit to make one.

When this does get sent out as complete, ready to go kits you need to prop the feet up and have a big beer or three. All the best.

So is (or is not) the buy list closed for this? I'm seriously thinking about parting with the chunk-of-change for this, since it really does look so sweet. I would not, however, offer payment until it's actually complete and ready to ship (no offense).

Also, I couldn't quite understand some things (and yes I believe I read the ENTIRE post)...

Are the tires gonna be one piece (like a real tire) or have to be assembled? Not talking rims or covers, but the actual rubber. Also, is it going to be rubber? Resin? What?

Is the hull going to be one solid piece? Or would all the little pieces need to be assembled (I'm talking about the styrene shots where you were building the hull and gluing/taping it together). Hope that makes sense.

VERY nice and detailed work. Insanely so. Keep it up! This thing is going to be a work of art when finished. Keep thinking of that day, Wasili!

When it's done i'll drink more than a few beers, i'll probably get so loaded i won't even remember i finished in the first place. Oh, hold on, i would have to start drinking for that first.....:cool

As for your questions:
1.Although the spots in the run are not full, i'm not taking any further orders at this moment. I fulfill the current orders first before seriously reconsidering any future offerings. There is a reserve list should people back out. If you want i can put you on that list.

2.The tires are 1 piece rubber.

3.The hull is two pieces, not all the tiny pieces you saw earlier.

For those anxiously waiting, i'm hoping to have some pics up next weekend.

Thanks Wasili. As for the reserve list, I'll wait to see what the final product looks like.

It is a VERY expensive kit. But that being said, you'll be lucky if you can cover your material costs. As for your time costs, you'd probably have to charge a couple thousand. I don't think people realize what's involved in all the work you've done. So it's an expensive kit for us consumers. But you, the producer, will be taking a loss when you factor in EVERYTHING (including taking the time to post replies and photos). Definitely a labor of love. Keep up the good and detailed work.

Expensive.... I think its a bargain for all of the time ant effort put into this kit. For some reason i dont think there will ever be a kit this good for a long time to come. Keep it up wasili looking forward to your updates.
