Alana's wings from Saga

So I plan on making Alana's wings out of either Wonderflex or Worbla, iridescent film and wire. What type of adhesive could I use to attach them directly to my shoulders? Will spirit gum be strong enough to support the weight?

I would think no, maybe use clear fishing line as a harness around your arms?
