Let's Build a TIE Bomber! - Final Pics

Really nice! Good eye catching that subtle 'paneling' color differentiation.
BTW, if that isn't a 'maker space' I don't what is! Nice setup for photo shoots too! I was using Ott light bulbs in cheap clamp lights with paper towel diffusers on them... not nearly as good results!

Thanks for sharing the journey so well, BBB!

I understand that this is a bit of a necropost. I'm looking into wanting to build a SS Tie Bomber. I have 2 MPC DV fighter kits. I'm trying to figure out what the main body is. I understand that its probably Plastruct tubing, and think it the TB-200 grey ABS 2 inch. Is this correct? Also, I thought I saw somewhere that there's a "building Bible" out there. Where can I get it? Thank you in advance.

BTW, your build is absolutely amazing. I what a buil thread.. my poor eyes started to blur from reading all 10 pages.. lol.. this really inspired me.

check the first side of this build, u can also use the search function, there are other active and well documented tie bomber builds too
but
the pdf thing is only a "compas" but u need to find your own way, not all parts are there, not all parts are correct, many parts need to be cut, and so on, but its a good start, not all kit parts are easy available today anymore, some kits are more expensive today, then 20 years ago - a tank kit is 35 bucks on average today

Hey there! Thanks for the kind word's. I'm pretty sure that's the correct Plastruct tube. Unfortunately, I can't find my order to confirm it but if you snoop around you can find the part name/number.

Here's are two parts maps (I think that's what you meant by build bible). It lists the kits needed and the location of the parts. As always, cross reference with photos of the actual model. There are some discrepancies in the scribing lines and placement of some of the hash marks on the wings.
