Airsoft M41A pulse rifle modification - motion tracker questions

apparently from reviews I've heard its a good airsoft gun but mainly id like to use it for films and as a display piece. it has not yet been delivered so we will see what's in store but id like to put some lights and sound FX modules in it. im new to electronics and not ver experienced. any tips or ideas? id like to do something like irv's pulse rifle modification: Aliens Pulse Rifle demo video - YouTube
maybe not so extensive. any ideas? id also like to create a motion tracker replica. are there any affordable kits out there? id like to scratchbuild my own from the items used for the original prop. is there a list on the forum of the items id need?

Welcome to the forum BIGmon! The Snow Wolf (aka Matrix Pulse Rifle) will serve you well. There are several threads on this gun here on the RPF. In the search tab on the top right of the forum type in Pulse Rifle. You will get a ton of results. You will find reviews of the gun as well as several threads on how to modify the gun. One thing I want to ask, did you order a new battery when you ordered the gun? The one that comes with it is plain crap and will not last thru one mag of BB's.

As far as the Motion Tracker, this is place to go. No one else makes a Motion Tracker kit, as far as I know. Spats parts are cast off the real deal items. No need to track down old dirty expensive parts to build one. Price is very reasonable as well.
