AAV Drop Ship

Wow, I didn't know that.
May takes a little while until it steps jig.
Recently, I saw the achievement done by Boston Dynamics. Unbelievable!

Gave myself a pre Christmas present of a new M1911 from Springfield armory. Very nice!

Excellent work on the tire!

Is that a one made of gunmetal and fires a metal jacketed bullet by gunpowder instead of a 6mm plastic ball? Of course,....... I envyyyyy!!

Here are a few of my M1911.

The upper one is a plastic model gun with brass fake bullets. M1911 Series '70.
The lower one is a metal airsoft gun. M1911 MEU.

Ken-san, may I ask, do you go to the range and shoot it on your day off? Or only for collection?
I've never fired a real handgun in my life. I want to try it before I die.

There are many guns I have known but the M1911 is one mysterious gun. Holding it in your hand gives you a strange sense of security and the feeling of power. M1911 and M2 heavy machine guns are a very rare tool been used for more than 110 years with very few modifications. I heard the US Marines is again using this Springfield Armory M1911 one for their sidearms. John M Browning is a real genius of firearms designing.

again, I envy you!!

I’m envious of people that have fired handguns also, I was involved in sports shooting and I have had only had the pleasure of firing target/hunting rifles but I did get to fire a real .50BMG rifle built by Steyr. In Australia, handguns are subject to excessively restrictive licensing and pump action shotguns and anything semi-auto, forget about it... of course, now I live in the USA but my wife is violently anti-gun... what a life.

Wait, wait, wait! Steyr .50 BMG rifle? Is it HS.50? I double envy. There must be very few things more fun than fire a big caliber long-range rifle. It may blow your daily flustration or some annoying mickey mouse things. And hunting is very important to conserve the natural environment. Only in a few big countries can be possible. Your partner has her opinion. That's great. Also, if it is a thing she physiologically dislikes, there is no help for it. But If she never had any experience of firing any guns and if she tried, there are possibilities that she might love it. I've seen many examples of it. Life is mysterious.

If you visit Las Vegas there are probably at least a dozen or more gun ranges where you can get to shoot all variety of things including machine guns

Well, all I can say is if you ever come to the US we will go to the range and punch lots of holes in paper targets. I have the .45, a Ruger Security Six in .357, a Ruger 10/22 rifle and my wife's latest, a Walther P22 pistol. Plus at the range they rent guns for customers to fire. And sell you the ammunition of course.

I only have a pistol - a 9mm Glock - but if you ever visit, I'll happily take you to my local pistol range and let you put as many rounds through it as you'd like.

And those videos are very helpful. (I probably wouldn't have thought of tightening and loosening the bolt using the drill itself. Clever!)

You can use the excuse of going to Vegas because it is not far from the Grand Canyon (you can take a Helicopter tour of it from Vegas)

Thanks for watching my video, Tom-san.
The pattern of the mid parts of the tire tread was shaped with bundled together and filed. But I needed to shape the rims of the sidewall one by one. I had to tighten and loosen with that bolt again and again for total of 16 sidewall disks. As a matter of fact, the idea had come out naturally. I think you did it the same way. When you started to work on something actually, the tricks are often come out automatically. I knew it in my experiences. So, I always stop worrying and start it anyway even when I thought it will be a frustrating job.
And, and, thank you very much for your proposal! Glock 9mm!! The gun was a shock for the gun fan like me. The first time I saw it was in the movie "Die Hard 2" (1988). The gun was so impressive. Using plastic material, hammerless, trigger safety only, grip position. It was quickly adopted by law enforcement agencies across the United States. One of my friends shot the actual Glock17 in Guam. He said, 'Very easy to control. Very tight bullet grouping in 20 yards.' I always use my airsoft Glock-17 for the survival game. Even just a toy gun, it really good feeling. Is Tom-san's one is the new generation of Glock17 or Glock19 (which is my daughter Yuki's favorite) ?.

Thanks for the tactical advice, Analyzer-san!
I always thought I want to go to see the Grand Canyon. OK, So, I can see the Grand Canyon in Arizona, and then I can watch other grand canyons in the Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas, Nevada!!

Y'all can have the grill...I would simply go there for the girl (with or without nurse outfit)

Hey!, George-san, stop drooling! Behave your self! We geek modelers are supposed to be gentlemen. With or without nurse outfit ? What a shame!
I love the nurse outfit! It should be. That's more exciting! Then, burger! Girls and Grill!
That's the samurai's manner.

Today is my gaming day.
Now I'm playing "Sniper Ghost Warrier-Contract" That's cool!!

Shaping the sidewalls of tires to having a round shape. I tried some idea but finally, I did it with a power drill lathe and Dremel bit. That was quick. I made a large hole with the woodcraft drill bit.
Smaller size tires were shaped. Now I'm working on a pair of large tires. Then I have to make wheels with a tube. I made those tires a bit smaller to secure the room for suspension movement. And also, I am thinking if I put rather smaller tires in between those tires like SPV. I think it's interesting maybe.

The tires are fine to me so far.
But I made a big mistake.
Something hard to recover.
Too late.
The problem is my hair cut.
Yesterday, I tried to cut my hair by myself with a power hair clipper.
That was fun but I did it too far. Now I can see the head skin of the top.
Also, my daughter said that my aft head looks like a sick dirty stray cat. She was bast out laughing at me with tears in her eyes.
I should have waited for my wife to come home and do it for me.

My wife came home and said, 'It's OK with me, it will be fine in a couple of weeks. Till then you go out alone.'

Ah...Thanks for looking.

Katsu-san, we all make mistakes ;) this is a funny one, but not permanent; it'll grow back before you can say "I finished my Dropship!".
Besides, you just made good karma: you made your family (well...your daughter) laugh and provided yourself with fresh air in warm weather:cool:
Keep it up with your project !(y)
