Thank you so much, George-san, joberg-san! Ged-san, I second!
To my regret, The Silver Surfer has not that popular hero in Japan so far.
Now I'm working on an actual-sized mockup of the APC with cardboard.
And later, this cardboard model will be a good pattern to cut up sheet metal.
Last Saturday, we three went to Narita city to have dinner.
My daughter #2 Yuki contracted with sony about the support and back up program for her activity and business.
So, she took us to dinner at an Italian restaurant on her treat.
It was a little celebration.
And we found a very attractive bar name 'Jetlag Club' nearby the restaurant.
The bartender was an American dude and half of the customers in the bar were foreigners.
We sat at the bar counter and have some drinks. The guy next to me Peter-san was a pilot of the national guard.
Now he is working for the Atlas in Elmendorf Air Force base in Alaska and flys the Kingjet C-12 for VIP and B-747-400 and 747-8 freighter. He was flying the AH-64 Apache in Afganistan in 2008.
He showed me a picture of him with AH-64.
I said 'Is it AH-64A? There's no radar dome above the rotor.'
He said it's AH-64D. They usually take out the radar dome because it's heavy and spoils the ship's maneuverability.
He said that the Longbow radar was not necessary for the battle with those insurgents. TADS is good enough for that.
He asked me 'Are you a pilot?'
I said 'I have been flying as a PC sim pilot for 30 years.' XD
He said, As an instructor's opinion, PC pilot always turns to be a good pilot for the real aircraft!
We had a very happy time talking to each other.
The man behind me is Peter-san.
Thanks for looking!
