Love the Medal...and here's to Kris, speedy recovery mate...

K, no I didn't make the gun, I do not have that kind of skill, The Luv gun (Blade Runner 2049) was purchased from Etsy, a crafters kind of ebay, its a resin pull from a 3d print and fits together like a glove...you are the true gunsmith!

Thanks, Martin-san,
The model gun is looking cool. I can't wait to see it's finished.

My guns will take another few days.

I remember more than 15 years ago, the U.S. Army conducted a selection test of a new type of service rifle, and it was decided that HK's XM-8 was the best, but I heard that it was canceled due to fierce opposition from the unit.

As I looking at the pic of the rifle, I thought that I could understand the reason for the opposition.
1607402866790.png

It looked like a product on the shelf of Toys R Us.
I thought, no matter how it works good, something is missing for the soldier to let them bring it to the battlefield.

A day or two more would be needed to be finished.
I hope if my soldiers in the AAV want to carry these rifles.

Thanks for looking,

Katsu

Great rifles Katsu-san (y) (y) Have you ever tried to work with the aluminium of drinking cans? You could do some of the tiny details with that;)

Looks like your one step closer to actually getting those guns to fire tiny bullets!

Thanks, Analyzer-san. I need a gun powder!

Thank you, Hagoth-san.

These are the pics of exactly 3 years ago. This morning, that's the coincidence but my google photo account happened to tell me the memories of the same day of 3 years ago.

That was almost the final detailing work of my previous work.

I needed a very thin aluminum sheet for the additional panel with rivets for detailing. There was no such thin aluminum at any shop so I used the aluminum can for this. That was about 0.1 mm thick. Yes, the aluminum can is useful but for very limited purposes. :D

 Ship him to me!
Why cats love those cardboard boxes?
Once I asked one of my cats and it said.
It's warm inside and faintly smells like 'Matatabi' - an Asian plant that makes all the cats crazy about it.

Sukiyaki Japan!? What did you buy?!?! :D

Thank you, Michael-san. Yeah, it took time. Roughly, 50 hours or more. And, Yes, I was surprised by the time passing quickly, too.

I love those stands and the scope. Amazing details!

Our cats loved playing in the boxes, especially this one
I miss my buddy...she used to keep me company when modeling...

Oh, I love the movie of Simon, too. It's so real than a real cat.
Thanks and I got another sweet pic. Sorry about lost a good partner. One of my cats loved those top of the old CRT display, too. It was a warm place and could see my miserable face.

Rifles are finished.
I will paint later to match the soldier's costume.

Added sights on them.

Those rifles look so good! I like the variety of the slightly different styles. That sniper scope is awesome. The one with the second barrel separated from the primary gives me the impression of a grenade launcher.

Thank you, Hagoth-san! I'm so glad that you catch my intention.
As you say, one with the separated barrel is supposed to be grenadier and the other second barrels are for the shotshell.

Very impressive!

If you decided to make jewelry your wife would be extremely happy!!
Great job on the rifles!

Wow, thank you, Ken-san. I showed them to my daughters and they said 'It's cute! I want one for my accessory!' I think it will be interesting if I make it out of silver ingot and some jewel stones. Do you have any extra silver and gems with you?;)

Always impressive looking at your progress, Katsu-san! A true artist and so inspiring!

Thank you, Kris-san! Take care!

Started to build the inside of the vehicle.
Today, I got only a few hours for work.

Sorry about the very little progress.

Tomorrow, we are going to Ginza, Tokyo.
My daughter's close friend will sing on the live stage.
She has a very beautiful voice and loves to sing US pop music and jazz. I am very looking forward to seeing her stage.

Tonight, I will play the latest game, CyberPunk 2077' :D

Thanks for looking!

I second Analyzer's comments. I always pick up such great techniques from your threads. Love the floor with all the detail and markings!

Daughter wants a gun for accessories? Why does a Barbie in battle fatigues come to mind?
