Is there something cheap I can use to make a first casting just to make sure the mold came out as hoped? Before I spend $$$ on something more expensive? Would plaster in a polyurethane mold be a bad idea? Is there something I could buy, say, at Lowe's or wherever that could be used to make a hollow casting? I just want to be sure it comes out looking how it did going in before I waste a bunch of money on casting material...
