The pics from ALIEN are great! I got to see the Nostromo up close when it was at KNB Effects Group a few years back. Not in the best of shape, but what a cool piece of Sci-fi history.

A nice guy ? Yes, he's very enthusiastic when it comes to A L I E N. I've been in touch with him via email a few times in the past. He shared behind the scenes jpgs pics very easily and I was amazed by what he sent me (an later posted on eagletransporter's board) !

Generous ? Well... I bought a Narcissus built-up from him on eBay A couple of years ago but never received it... He was unable to give me a proof of shipping or tracking number for his package. I wasn't refunded either, of course. He then refused to answer my next emails... Patience didn't pay in that case... I still wonder if all the guys who had ordered similar Narcissus models from him ever received them...

I've also heard a few "stories" about him from other A L I E N modelshop vets...

Ah. Good to see the other side being aired, just in the interests of balance. I have no dog in the race BUT I have also heard a few things from a couple of the A L I E N modelshop vets.

I can't vouch for the truth of other people's stories, but I can't help noting that yours is similar. I'm not saying "the dude is shonky", but my caution meter is turned on.

I should mention that I've corresponded with PR in the past and he was indeed very happy to provide information. That was all cool and I have no personal bad experience with him.

Phil is a nice enough guy, but he's not very responsible. He purchased about $1,500.00 worth of stuff from me on eBay and never paid for it. He's pretty flakey. Don't get me wrong, I'm not down on him. It just is what it is.

I know Phill very well, he's a good friend and he lives not far from me. Haven't seen him in a while but if I do I will keep him informed as to when the next registration is open. I know it's open now but i may not see him for a while.
