Thanks Howard. Great thread and we're lucky to have Phil on board. :)

Brian Johnson next? Then maybe Gerry himself! ;)

Thanks howard, what stunning work & a joy to read through all the posts, I'm looking forward to more of the same.

That's the most extraordinary miniature FX thread I've stumbled upon in some time. The text is (almost) as interesting as the images.

Thanks so much for posting.

:thumbsup

Man, that's awesome! It's a shame he tried to join here when new membership was closed, we need to get him on board!! He seems like a great guy!

Very nice read...great pictures also. Phil Rae, man I seem to have this guys name embedded in my head for some reason. YEARS ago when I first started researching the narcissus his name came up. I want to say I had some contact of sorts with him. :confused I can't remember. And it seems MB has been telling fibs about his involvement with the Narcissus model. :confused

Still yet another TO DO model someday. If I could ever get enough reference of the original... probably unlikely. Martin get anything new over the years buddy?

Im gobsdmacked about Martin Bowers "fibs" as you put it too.

For me this is like a MAJOR scandal....But I should get out more:lol

Joking aside - Martin Bowers porky pies is a major revelation.

That is a landmark thread!

Thank you so much for sharing that with us!

The 'Alien' Halloween party with Walter Koenig at Bob Burns' house is covered (with a few photos) in Bob Burns' book "It Came from Bob's Basement."

And I got Bob to sign my copy at Wonderfest - nyah nyah nyah :lol

Bob Burns also owns a lot of the stuff from Aliens - including the Sulaco!

Thanks to all you guys who have said thanks for the post, it's really my pleasure to contribute to this area of the board where I mostly read and learn from you experts.

Phil's a great guy, and he has a huge collection of pics and info to share.

Wow - this is going to be really handy when I get around to detailing my Halcyon Nostromo and Narcissus models.

Thanks for posting!
