Just completed this gun model for DOJ Grapple Gun not long ago, the design is sort of classic retro from what I felt

Planted in the pivot boss to split the parts easier for 3d print/ prep and putting them back in place and well fitting too

and this is sort of my side assignment for grappling hook, basically remodel the it in Solidworks and adding mechanism design into it :sick.
I hope to make it as spring loaded trigger to open the hooks.

Had ordered prints from Shapeways and going to order some customize springs to assemble this hook set. Probably will show a video to demonstrate when I get all components/ parts in hand.

I just needed to come here to say that I just had files made up by Skylu and the results were exactly what I was looking for...the first time!

I'd recommend him to anyone who needs some modeling work done. I'll definitely be reaching out to him again for my next project.

So here with some update of my BvS grappling hook design from 3D printed assembly.
This is the version 1.0 - all piece done by Shapeways in white plastic

and I encountered some design issue happened in the hook inter-lock, so update the hooks design to version 1.5 printed from PLA and had screws, torsion/ compression springs loaded in.

Ordered this new hooks from Shapeways to it's on the way to me too, just sit back and wait for it

Here is a video of how it works as per now.
