Hi everyone! i´m here with another of my humble projects.
This time is Rain´s watch from Alien romulus, as i´m planning to do some cosplaying.
There is not much info out there about it, at least one i could find.
I found out that is based on a Seiko tv watch
I started by modeling it in blender, with all the info i could find about it, some pictures of the Seiko watch and just one image from the movie hehehe.
After some back and forward i got a final model
and i started the 3d printing process... that took a while to nail, i use my resin printer and sometimes straight lines... are not as straight as they should be, as you can see on the top part of the watch. So i had to try different setups to make it as accurate to the 3d model as possible.
And then the fun part started with painting and weathering, this was quite straight forward.
And some finishing touches, it looks better live than in pictures, specially the screen that i used a plastic sheet to make it .
I know is porbably not super screen accurate, as i had to improvise a lot of things due to the lack of information and visual reference, but i´m super happy with the result.
Thanks for reading and i hope you like it!
