Hi everyone!

I would love to 3D model the Corbelan IV from Alien: Romulus, but for now, there aren't many pictures of the actual screen-used model.
I found some pictures from the concept (1) by Matthew Savage, but the model used in the movie (2) has some minor changes.

So, I’m reaching out to you, fellow Alien enthusiasts, to help me in my quest to find good usable reference material !

I have not seen the film yet but I really like that ship design- harkens back to the Nostromo with teh engine ducting but but not a retread. What scale is this vessel?- the hatches at either end could be cargo or human sized but the ship would be too small I think if those were human hatches...

Hi, I just saw this thread online looking for more views of the Corbelan IV and saw your model which looks great! Would you be happy to share that model file here? I suppose you have had to do a lot of guesswork for some of the hidden angles etc?

Also, what are the differences you noticed between the onscreen and concept version?

Thanks again for your hard work it looks great!

This is where I am now.
I speculate, based on the reference character shown above, that the entire ship must be around 8 meters tall.
So, I'm curently testing a 1:76 scale on my 3d printer. I lost many details at that scale (meaning it could be easily printed at 1:42), but the purpose is to fit the parts together for now.

(I forgot the two little front window grille laying on top)

I'll be back next week with more !

I don't have a lot to add other than dang that's a pretty spaceship! Very Expanse-y, can't recall any asymmetrical designs like this in previous Alien movies.
