2022 Kenobi Series Lightsaber Screen Caps SPOILERS

I'm with you...my favorite hilts are in the OT, but when i saw the new Kenobi i'm like, i pretty much had the hilt like 2 years ago because i also got Romans V2 steel and found out then that the Balance pipe was compatible with the Inception, V2, Mk1 and Balance V4. I interchanged them then but since it wasn't a Canon hilt at the time i just dismissed it. It looks great!! The Inception mashup is plenty good enough for my taste and since Roman has the best ANH Obi imo, that's the version i chose. I already tried the Balance pipe on the KR OWK3 eco and even though it looks nice, just not as good as the Romans. It will be an awesome challenge for someone to do one spot on.

I never said it looked horrible...I don't have it anymore...I sold it with the ROTS emitter a few weeks ago...lol

The prop hanging on the Celebration costume display is definitely a resin or rubber stunt cast!
But Obi-Wan‘s hero saber is also a Master Replicas, albeit modified with a Roman Props ANH Emitter. There are several tells!View attachment 1580437
Also on a somewhat related note the Vader saber in the new Obi-Wan series is also believed to be a Master Replicas as well, the faux end cap and it’s clearance under the T-track grips, overall thickness, & angled grips are a dead giveaway. Also the clamp position & mirror/chrome under the bubble strip!View attachment 1580438

I’m not sure whether the hero OWK is from MR. If you check Shaun patterson’s FB page, he presents the exact dimensions of the show hero vs the MR, and you can see slight differences between the two in the photo comparison.

His looks more like the scratch built hero. Not that MR/Romans mashup. The details match the prop seen on the poster. And some see on the Hasbro.

You are mistaken; this is a comparison photo of his ‘High Ground Elite’ based on the screen used ROTS prop compared to his new ‘Exile Elite’ which IS based directly on the Master Replicas. I know this because I have been in direct contact with Shaun for this new run and even personally helped provide behind-the-scenes reference images taken directly on set of the new Kenobi series.
Shaun himself is also of the belief it is 100% a Master Replicas with a Roman Props balance pipe.

That's an exact match if ever I've seen.
But there's a second belt hanger that isn't Master Replicas.

The teeth on the cog/gear greeblie, are narrower than the MR. The booster looks like it touches the pommel( these details can be seen on the Hasbro FX as well), there's a bit of a gap on the MR. The pommel orientation is different than the MR. And the grenade V grooves and rings don't look very deep. It looks like a pretty good match for that saber in the box.

Sorry, but I am not mistaken according to what I read. Perhaps SP accidentally misworded his description, as it’s unclear based on what you just said. I’m only reporting what I read, and am not saying you’re incorrect or that SP is either.

I don't see how it can be. Unless the pommel can rotate. On an MR the greeblies line up with one of the pommel cubes. One this one the control box lines up with a pommel cube. (So does the rubber stunt.)

On the MR there's a bit of a gap between the pommel and booster. No gap on this one.

This one is less clear. But the grooves don't look as deep. But I may be wrong on this one. Probably just not clear enough.
