2022 Kenobi Series Lightsaber Screen Caps SPOILERS

Sorry, but I am not mistaken according to what I read. Perhaps SP accidentally misworded his description, as it’s unclear based on what you just said. I’m only reporting what I read, and am not saying you’re incorrect or that SP is either.
You’re still misunderstanding his post; The High Ground Hero he’s referring to is from ROTS, not the new Obi-Wan show.
The MR base he’s referring to IS from the new Obi-Wan show.

Not sure about the pommel rotation on the MR myself but I do see the same gap here, again just at a different angle.

I don't see how it can be. Unless the pommel can rotate. On an MR the greeblies line up with one of the pommel cubes. One this one the control box lines up with a pommel cube. (So does the rubber stunt.)

On the MR there's a bit of a gap between the pommel and booster. No gap on this one.

This one is less clear. But the grooves don't look as deep. But I may be wrong on this one. Probably just not clear enough.View attachment 1581648
If you take a MR saber apart and remove the pins that align one piece with another, you can reassemble the whole thing on a threadered rod in any orientation you choose

To me it doesn't seem that the style of the grenade is consistent. Does it have 8 columns of thinner fins like ANH, or 6 wider columns like ROTS? The Hasbro saber looks to have thinner fins

While the galaxy's edge saber and this look wider?

I wonder if it's an attempt to disguise that it's thicker then the actual prop?

I also notice that on the Hasbro there isn't a gap between the booster and pommel. And the gear/cog greeblie is thinner. While the Galaxy's Edge looks closer to the MR in those respects.

Did Hasbro make it thicker for batteries? Is it something they have to do to make it more sturdy?
Probably. They typically run on 3 or 4 AAA or AA batteries as I recall. Much bigger diameter then a 18650 Li-ion battery that are popular in fan made sabers.

It would only be thicker up until the clamp if they still go together the way the MR FFX sabers did.

Question: Who makes an OWK which is considered the 'most accurate' to the MR Saber? Its a minefield out there!

From what I have actually handled after owning the MR EP3 OWK, the Roman's Inception Elite is a good alternative. I have heard that the 89Sabers OWK version is based directly off the MR saber although I have never held it. I personally stay away from 89Sabers though (the whole recast thing). I did hear that KR makes a great ECO version.
