2022 Kenobi Series Lightsaber Screen Caps SPOILERS

I'm pretty excited that my Black Series Force FX Luke lightsaber is kind of screen accurate now. Or that it is very closely based on the MR version. The biggest difference I can see is that the round bumps behind the buttons are separate pieces and not molded into the graflex.

Question: Who makes an OWK which is considered the 'most accurate' to the MR Saber? Its a minefield out there!
Shameem used to have a really nice comparison. But I don't think his channel is up since he retired from lightsabers.

I only have a Romans so I can't speak with absolute authority. But some things I've noticed. Only KR Sabers seems to have V-grooves that are of an accurate depth.

SP Sabers emitter isn't quite right. But I believe he's done some tweeks for the second run of his.

KR, and 89/Korbanth are FX kits first. As such they use those little greeblies as buttons. Roman intended for the buttons to go in the control box. So if you don't install, you don't have buttons that are slightly on the apparent side.

KR also has a blade plug with a little screw in it replicating the emitter from that saber that auctioned a couple years ago. Though the neck isn't the right color.

Oh and Romans is really easy to swap out emitters with a balance pipe. :)

Hasbro on Left, Disney Parks on right. I would just go with one of our known makers but if I only knew about the officially licensed versions I'd have to buy both so I can take the neck and emitter off the Hasbro version and add it to the Disney version because the grenade and booster look so much better.

Vader’s saber in this cover shot appears to be a Korbanth MPP2.5, Randy Johnson has said on Facebook that it made the show, so I assume he shipped one to Pinewood Studios and supplied production. It appears to have been used for the FX Stunt Saber on set.

While Vader’s static belt hangar is confirmed to be a Master Replicas. Notice the thickness of the faux end cap and the the clearance for it under the Grips, the thick angled T-Track, and mirror/chrome under the Bubble Strip is a dead giveaway.

Also notice the Master Replicas clamp orientation.

Kenobi’s FX Stunt saber looks like it could possibly be the new Hasbro Force FX Elite, this may also be the one seen inside the desert box except with the thin neck attached instead of the blade.

Somebody on production had a hardon for MR.

Is it possible that there's just a bunch of MR props sitting in the archives somewhere?

Here is a photo from the vanity fair photo shoot. Looks like a similar stunt with a fatter neck. What gets me is the length of the hilt. Both in this photo and from the blurred cap, the hilt looks longer with an usual pommel….definitely production made in my opinion.

You guys really need to get a life - all you talk about is things that vibrate and hold in yours hands....

Great research guys, yet another bloody lightsaber I have to buy!

Yea I do agree, It’s more likely that Hasbro based their design on the screen used FX Stunt which was probably custom made by the prop dept. I doubt that production would even have access to the Hasbro product yet as it’s still being manufactured.
