2014 SECRET SANTA THREAD - *** Entry NOW CLOSED ***

Okay, I didn't make it all the way to Christmas, I opened my Secret Santa gift today and was floored, it's an amazing assortment of Disneyland awesomeness! Everything is absolutely perfect, I've actually flipped through the book a couple of times while at the park but never pulled the trigger. And I love the sleeve, it fits my iPad perfectly.

It may sound weird, but the Mickey ears with Wolf on them are actually my favorite thing. Not only do I not actually have a pair that are the standard Mickey ears, but I tried to get them to embroider some with Wolf years ago and they said they couldn't do it. I've been wearing them all day. :cool



Thank you SO much Secret Santa. This was a truly amazing package of goodies, every last item was perfection (heck, I've even already used the back scratcher twice today :lol).

Merry Christmas everyone! It'sChristmas here in Australia, aka the future.. and I managed to hold out until now to open my Secret Santa's gift! It was full of awesome paper props including star wars location post cards, tons of different Batman logo stickers, Back to the future postcard and landing permit, Sarah Connors Polaroid from terminator and a set of ID cards from Fringe , all are of impeccable quality and craftsmanship.. thanks Cmdr.Kerner! These are going on my desk at Work..

Ok so it's time to post and I'll start with the first thing I found when I opened my Box. A wonderful card that made me smile from ear to ear.



Oh but it gets better!

Now my first gift which was placed neatly in the card. A parking permit for Stargate Command! Whoop! now I'm sounding like R2.



Next was the obvious but very well received. Thors Hammer! Wheeeeee.



Next came a stocking which reminded me of a bad joke my father made up the other day.

Said with a lisp...

"Thith hammer ith tho heavy. Lifting it maketh me Thor." :facepalm.. Ooooooo



Finally I got a POP figure which had an expression on it's face that completely sums up this holiday for me. WooOOOW!!!

i was told 6 to 11 days, but apparently that was a lie. i sent it out in time

And a big thanks to Michael for putting this whole thing together! My santa did an awesome job as well so thanks for that hopefully my recipient enjoyed his gifts! I opened my gifts today

First a few small items, like a Captain America "koozie" and key-chain, and a Supernatural "Team Castiel" bracelet


Then an awesome Supernatural "Join the Hunt" alarm clock!


and here's a pic with all of it



I absolutely love the clock, Supernatural is definitely one of my all time favorite TV shows, and even though I probably won't wear the bracelet it is still awesome as Cass is definitely one of my favorite characters! The Captain America key-chain and coozie are just icing on the cake!

I hope he doesn't mind, but I did a little investigating, and I am pretty sure my Secret Santa was Cadeus

Here's mine! It's a huge Han in Carbonite rug! As an Original Trilogy fan, it's very cool and I know exactly where I'm going to put it.

Yeah, I never ended up with a "normal" ear hat because that was the one I'd tried to get them to put "Wolf" on, so major kudos to my SS for getting them to do it! (or to you, if my SS was you and you're just wording your reply to make it sound like you only know them. :lol)

I'm glad you like it all. I was worried. This is my first secret Santa so I hope to do better next year. (My original idea was a small sculpture, but I didn't have enough time to finish it.) Merry Christmas!

Sorry about your loss, I'm glad that I was able to cheer you up a little bit. That's why I love secret santa's. You never know what is going on in someone's life and these nice gestures can make all the difference. Sorry I didn't individually wrap them, ran out of wrapping paper and figured to just throw what I had left over the top.
DatManRogee Really awesome job dude. I loved the set you made for me. The Bella Lugosi print was awesome and when you're famous I'll be rich! Really nice work on the vampire hunting set. Felt so cool when I was taking it out and love all the work and detail you put into it. Thanks a lot.
