1/350 TOS E is happening.

Well, that got their attention. Nothing like a Paypal dispute to stir things up!!!
Just got 3 emails in a row from Autoworld.
First one says Track your order from Autoworld and the next two says your order has shipped, Your order has shipped!!!

Funny stuff right there!!!!

Kenny

Give a shout out for Autoworld.
Bad business, bad.... BAD,,,,

I go the same thing but here's the rub...the email says my PE and light kit shipped but the details on the AW site show only the PE shipping. I dont know what the heck is on its way...I think Light Kits still show backorder

When I bought my stuff from Autoworld the Enterprise said processing even after it was sitting in my office, I am going to go with the emails at this time. Dispute will be dissolved AFTER I get both things I ordered!!

Borjis, you might want to create a Paypal account. There are a lot of stores that are accepting paypal now at the registers and with it's buyer protection plan it's a win win!!

I'm losing my patience, but I paid via PayPal day 1 so a PP dispute won't help. This really is sucky. I only bought through the site as a way to support the company and show they made the right choice to go all out, maybe we'll see a 350 Reliant,.......I was gonna woe is me,shame on Round2......can't. Autoworld blew it. And continues to,but I'm gonna get it eventually. Hurry up please! You're slightly messing up my Christmas. Not that anyone is wrong to give R2 and Autoworld a kick, done it myself, just caught myself mid post working up a lather and suddenly got the spirit of Sandy Claws! Merry X-Mas Round 2! Also, please get me my stuff. Thanks?:unsure

I can understand some of you guys frustration not getting what you ordered in a timely manner but I honestly don't think Autoworld is going to leave town with any of your money. I just think they got overwhelmed with orders and were incapable of handling it. Not making excuses for them since I do feel Round 2 made a huge mistake making them their distributor which has resulted in ticking off alot of their customers.
Demanding refunds I think just inconveniences you guys and not Autoworld since it just means you have to go looking for your Model kit and the accessories elsewhere and basically start all over from scratch. I say wait it out and you'll eventually get what you ordered. I myself ordered a second premiere kit and got it weeks later even though it took awhile.
Again I'm not making excuses for them and I'm totally on you guys side on how you feel and I'd be pretty mad too if I was in your position but I still feel demanding your money back is just delaying longer you getting what you ordered . I'm not even saying you should stop calling them...you should keep it up...... since I think being called constantly is good punishment over this. I just say that once you do get what you ordered then never order from them again and perhaps a letter writing campaign to Round 2 is in order to get them to find a better more reliable distributor now and for their future Model kits.

No refund yet. Turns out I am PAST my 45 day window as I ordered on November 2nd. Ugh.

Posted to Round 2's Facebook page: "How soon should I expect a refund for my $267 order from you? I paid via Paypal on November 2nd. I am now past my 45 day window to file a claim. "Doug" said I would be refunded my money. How long does this take? I should have opened a claim but I TRUSTED your customer service when they said "we are shipping your order this week" for the past THREE WEEKS."

I just requested a refund and Doug told me they would process it on Wednesday and it will show up on Friday for me.

I will wait and see if this actually happens though. I also opened a Paypal dispute just to light a fire under their asses. Not sure if that's going to help at all though since I'm hovering around the 45 day mark for disputes.

Tymer, by getting a refund from Autoworld and spending my money at my local hobby shop, Hobby Town USA gets the retail profit, and not Round2. There's no delay - HobbyTown has the packs in stock. PLUS, I got 25% off because I bought a crap ton of their stock. So I win, HobbyTown wins, and Round 2 loses.

Direct retail sales - that's where the real money for these companies are.

Do you remember hearing SD talk about how Master Replicas should have stuck with direct sales only, and not had affiliates who could buy wholesale and get that profit?

The 45 days window is just a number. Believe me, PayPal is very flexible and accommodating to their customers—especially long-time customers. Be persistent if need be. You should have no problem with PayPal if it comes to that. Just keep calling them and pleading your case. They WILL grant your refund.

I have NO symapthy for R2/Autoworld on this. They created the 1701 club...that wanted those 1701 sales right off the bat (plus Standard kit and accessory packs) They had the same 2 years to figure out how the heck to bill and ship the product.

They fell flat on their faces plain and simple. Now they should feel the pain accordingly. For all the good work they did on the kit they don't seem to have done much for sales and distribution.

Like the others say, give the profit to the LHS or another on-line retailer NOT AW

I ordered my Enterprise Combo Accessory kit through Cult Man on the 19th and just got a notice it has shipped.

Looks like he has caught up shipping all his pre-orders.
I wasn't expecting it to ship till sometime next month.

CultTVMan gets high praise from me. After Round2 dropped the ball on my Club 1701 membership and never sent me any emails for purchasing the Premier kit (which, ironically, they have not sold) I went straight to CultTVMan for my standard edition. Fast service, amazing tracking and good prices. No complaints. But to find out that Round2 still has not sold all the Premier kits makes me laugh. I tried to get one, but am now happy I didn't have to deal with Autoworld. So when I buy my accessory kit with the PE and lights I'll be going to Cult. It may cost me a little more (they charge for shipping) but I know I'll get my stuff in a timely and satisfying manner.

moffeaton,

No I hadn't heard that particular story. Here in the desert we only have one local lousy hobby shop that caters only to the RC and train crowd and they have no interest in stocking sci-fi model kits plus they barely carry anything in models except a few car kits. So unless I want to run to the nearest hobby shop 80 miles away I'm stuck with mail order. I do hope you get your refund soon and receive your model kit and accessories. Always like watching your builds. I do however think its a good idea to swamp Round 2 with letters complaining and asking they find a better more reliable distributor if they want to continue selling their models.

My Light Kits have arrived from AutoWorld ...

Well, the Paypal dispute paid off. The mailman just dropped off my parts. I filed a dispute on the 21st and a funny thing happened. I got 3 emails the same day stating that my stuff had shipped!!

Weird!!!:lol
