1/350 TOS E is happening.

No refund yet. Turns out I am PAST my 45 day window as I ordered on November 2nd. Ugh.

Posted to Round 2's Facebook page: "How soon should I expect a refund for my $267 order from you? I paid via Paypal on November 2nd. I am now past my 45 day window to file a claim. "Doug" said I would be refunded my money. How long does this take? I should have opened a claim but I TRUSTED your customer service when they said "we are shipping your order this week" for the past THREE WEEKS."

Oh, they are hearing from me, believe me. Yes - I fully endorse letting our voices be heard. Doug is getting a phone call before he can sit down at his desk tomorrow morning. Jamie will get an earful from me in person, in May. This is clownshoes. And the model is a high stakes release... do they think people like us aren't going to talk to others about this? I'm NEVER ordering from them again. They will indirectly get my money, sure, but there is no way I trust them to release a dang thing, especially via Autoturd.

I'm in no rush - but being lied to about shipping is one of my MAJOR peeves. The RPF in days of yore had a long and sordid history of people lying about shipping, so I'm no stranger to the process.

I believe part of the problem stemmed from where Autoworld was shipping the Premiere kits from. Autoworld is essentially Round 2's factory outlet store based in South Bend, IN and they've been around for I believe almost a year now. But the Premiere kits were shipping from Fife, Washington, which was where the container shipment was unloaded. So I have a feeling what happened was the shipping setup out of Fife was either contracted out or maybe set up as a brand new shipping site for other stuff (not as likely) and it revealed some bugs.

The Premiere kit orders were special with the shipping invoices going to the location in Fife where I believe they ONLY got the Premiere kits. The Lighting kits on the otherhand would be going to Autoworld's South Bend location (unless a container shipment of stuff was going to customer distributors warehouses on the west coast as well, but that is direct volume shipping and doesn't include retail customers) and Round 2's own factory warehouse. So, the best case scenario is they would be shipping from two separate places.

What probably jacked things up further in regards to the Premiere orders was selecting Priority Mail instead of UPS (which was the default free service). Yes Jeff, I know why you selected Priority. You wanted to try and get it quicker and I don't blame you. I toyed with that thought myself, but opted to go free shipping instead as my pocketbook is a bit lighter these days. Unfortunately, it sounds like the Premiere kits were only intended to go UPS as they were geared only for that in Fife (figuring perhaps that nobody would go Priority) and maybe didn't have anybody available at the shipping site who could take a couple boxes to the post office (or some other glitch popped up) or nobody dreamed that anyone would pass up the opportunity for "free" shipping. The cancellation process again would add its own layer of limbo.

No, I am not trying to justify what happened. I'm just trying to perhaps come up with a possible explaination for what did happen. As for the other bits, why go to Kerr? He's a contractor who does work for Round 2 PL. Why not try R2 customer service directly since Autoworld is their store? It might be worth a shot anyway.

its not the premiere kits, its the light kits shipping from a different location then Fife.
I live 8 miles from the Fife location and get my kit same day it ships...but Ive been waiting over a month now for PE and Light Kit while people who ordered after me have received them. plus as Moff said they keep saying "it will ship next week.."

I have been going through Doug at Round 2's customer service, WHICH IS AUTOWORLD'S NUMBER - it's a JOKE. I ask Gary because maybe he can tell Jamie that his company's distro is screwing the pooch with these accessory kits. I ordered multiples of JUST the accessory kits - the premiere model purchase was an entirely different order.

Why not? I'm not getting anywhere with the proper channels. What harm is it going to cause?

Why not get in touch with Jamie directly then? Why go through Gary? Jamie typically does answer his emails at last check.

It's his company - he should probably know about this crap? I don't have his email. Just the Autoworld-centric contacts listed on the websites. I posted to Round 2's Facebook page.

Look, I'm just poking everything until I get my freaking money back. I don't TRUST Autoworld.

I got in under the wire with Paypal. I ordered Nov 13.
We'll see what happens.

I really don't want the refund. I want my stuff!!!

Kenny

Well, that got their attention. Nothing like a Paypal dispute to stir things up!!!
Just got 3 emails in a row from Autoworld.
First one says Track your order from Autoworld and the next two says your order has shipped, Your order has shipped!!!

Funny stuff right there!!!!

Kenny

Give a shout out for Autoworld.
Bad business, bad.... BAD,,,,
