1:1 Millennium Falcon Cockpit Replica - Group Build

Hi Gang,
First, I dont know what's going with Photobucket but their website is experiencing some serious and horribly frustrating issues! It's become more and more annoying each and every time I log in. Example, the site froze up no less than 15 times this morning causing me to bail out after trying to link photos. I hope they resolve the issues...
Second, work continues on the 1/4 scale cockpit! Made some great forward progress to include mounting the window and getting some electronics started! Enjoy
Nav chair headrests
The TRMs were added to the sides of the chair frames
The window saw more attention
I then added supports to the Volvo Panels
I then added adhesive to the tops of the Volvo Panels
And adhered to the canopy!
I then skinned the panels
Photobucket finally cr@pped out on me...

Maybe you can help me re: Photobucket. PB allows me to set up a file directory, sub folders, etc and then finally copy the link and simply post to any thread where the image appears on that specific page. Does IMGUR do the same thing? I have no problem switching I just fear PB is going to crap out and I'll have to repost 6 years of images - 45,000+ images!

Have you ever thought of building a list of .stl files that your followers could take over to help you with? I am sure plenty of us would be happy to 3d print and send you some parts! We would be more than passive followers.

I don't think Imgur does sub folders, though with an account (free) you can create albums/folders for the images.
I'm not sure about the second part... It sounds like your talking about mass posting images, which I don't think it's possible. If you're just talking about hotlinking images, that is possible.

Philip stopped by again to help with the wiring!
We removed ALL the little donuts that would have held the acrylic tubes
We covered all those areas with more reflective tape... We simply adhered the LED strip around the edges of each panel
Testing
The LED strips are 6000K... yeah... its bright!
We then wired up the panels!
WOW!
Gives us an idea how it will look with the skin!
I then mounted the nose in place
No matter the scale there is ALWAYS warping and gaps to fill... UGH
And finally... the 1/4 scale and 1/6 scale kits are FINALLY coming together!
And this is where we are!
Next stop... Dallas, TX for the Fan Days Con this weekend! Hope to see some of you there!

I always suspected that he dove so deep into the falcon that he managed to replicate the actual spaceship (even with the irreconcilable sizing). He’s just drip feeding us photos from years ago pretending they’re current. Perfectly explains how he lives in the US and runs a business in the UK

I am so excited to get all the interior panels and newly printed decals in place! It's going to be fun! Philip, who is helping with the wiring, actually knows what he's doing!
The Con was a LOT of fun! Not as many SW fans as we had hoped for but I met some great people and as always... we totally geeked out! Pics coming (whenever Photobucket gets fixed) ugh!
