The Quad is nearing completion! Still waiting for the home improvement store to order more reducers. I guess I've gone through most of them

Attached the two barrel supports and I'll build a more attractive support than just the "stick" I have there now.

The instrument panel rocker knobs get a layer of white primer. They are NOT perfect but they're coming along.

Another afternoon downpour has halted production... hopefully it will pass soon... but I was able to get this done...

Still have work to do on the rocker knobs but wanted to see it all in place...

Still have to replace the big ol hole in the panel and get the throttle housing finished up!

Thank you so much for the very kind words. I'm really happy with this weekends progress. The throttle housing is almost complete and I'm really happy with the greeblies I was able to find. The housing on the 2nd console will be completely different and I'm really excited to get started.

It's funny... I'm torn between two thoughts... Am I motivated to work on these projects because they are fun to build and I am having such a blast building them or am I filling some of the time to help forget about an "Ex GF"... I think it's a combination of the two. Oh well... either way... I really do appreciate the kind words. As I mentioneda above, I've been tinkering with another idea for the quad base. While the PVC mount leans toward the original design, I might change the mounts... stay tuned... Thanks again!

Had to work from home today so I spent my lunch break making a few little updates...

I remember seeing these two pinstripes on one of the screen shots. I like it!

I also finished off the pinstriping on the armrest that surround the toggle switches

I also removed the two levers and filled the holes with two identical radio knobs. I'll use the levers on the next console

Gotta get back to work...

Thank you, my friend. It's definately been a labor of love. Funny you mention "cockpit"... I've been chatting with StarKiller... nothing definitive yet... Just looking at different options. That's all I'm going to say... :love
