Hi Gang,
A fairly productive weekend! Lots of little greeblies, cleaning the garage, etc etc etc...
Worked on removing the glass tiles from these panels
Drill a simple hole for the 1" acrylic tile and LED
I then dyed a few more of the picture frame bump-ons
These turned out really nice...
I then finally spent several hours cleaning the garage
Jessie and Scott have been helping me cut acrylic on the side... I decide to go ahead and cover this area of the overhead panel
All painted and ready to go!
1 of 3 greeblies being put together - more on this!
Marking out where more greeblies will be mounted
Scott and Daniel are going to work some "electrical" magic with part - giving everything works
Several switches we can take advantage of
More of the laser cut greeblies
I'm considering adding red pilot lights to the circles
Waiting to be painted
TaDa! Love it!
Finishing up the button panels
A nice coat of satin clear
Then got to work on the extension panels - these mount directly under the lowest panels helping to raise the entire cockpit to its proper height
Scott and Jessie had CNCd several 6" wide by 96" pieces of 1/4" MDF - this made my life SO MUCH easier - THANKS GUYS!
3 Down (one still waiting for the filler to dry)
It was nice having the console back at the house
She attended the Mini Makers Faire in Nashville over the weekend... she's beginning to show her age
I also helped Scott put together his Turbo Time Arcade Cabinet - along with another cabinet we're working
LOTS more to follow so stay tuned!
