1:1 Millennium Falcon Cockpit Replica - Group Build

You realize that the pin-striping manufacturer is probably enjoying record annual sales because of this project? :)

Looking awesome, as usual.

Hi Gang,

Thanks for all the kind words and support. I took a MUCH needed day off yesterday and did nothing but relax. The next few days are going to focus on greeblies and other fun stuff!

As I said countless times already: AWESOME! :thumbsup You need to do a Star Destroyer bridge next :)

Hi Gang,

It was a very hectic Non-MF related weekend but I did manage to get a few little things done...

It was time to mount some more greeblies... I too the trusty calipers and started taking measurements

Sofaking, those panels are looking great, as ever.

just wanted to share the video I uploaded of the complete interior layout of the Full Scale Falcon (without most of the bazillion greebles, I'll leave that for your capable hands)

Looks awesome, Steve, and I hope it becomes a reality!! Your work is amazing as usual! Is this "subject to change" if the Ep. 7 Falcon reveals a much different back area? :)

Hi Gang,

Great News! The guys are back from the summer of Cons and are almost ready to get started on the lighting and sound! Had a great conversation with Jake and Scott and they are pumped and focused! Also, Scott will be cutting the 12 inch extension panels that will utlimately raise the cockpit to it's actual and screen accurate height! We're "hoping" that by Sunday, we should have the frames at least built!

With that... a new door and door frame will have to be fabricated along with trying to figure out the nose panels. Also... the platforms will need to be raised an additional 12". Lots to think about and even more challenges ahead! But it's gonna be SO WORTH IT!

Hang Tight!

can't wait to see it raised up. make sure to leave a hole for chewie's feet to poke out from. Hmm, now that I'm thinking of that ridiculous holiday special cockpit with the hole for his feet, it occurs to me that you've blown that one out of the water. Your cockpit is basically the next best thing to the real mccoy.
