1:1 'Ghost' Of ObiWan Kenobi...

How are you going to 'ghost' the robes? If anyone did try to make it look like the real deal, it's just going to look like a disembodied head. Here's what you could do, put it in a black box and project an image of obi-wan on it. Then it could talk to you too! :lol

Saran Wrap.

Pondering Gino's suggestions. I think it might be possible to pull it off, but it sounds like it would cost too much and border on the edge of overkill.

Make a thin, hollow, clear resin casting. Paint a coat of semi opaqe primer over it. Paint it up normally. Place a light inside- like Gino said.

Use a portable video projector to project the background image onto it. With the same background image printed up behind it and backlit so it's as bright and vibrant as the projected image.

Maybe the image projected onto the sculpt can be a looping video of the background with animated moving around random blue edges matched up to the edges the sculpt.

Howard, nice work. Is this a solid or hollow casting? Which brand/type of urethane casting material are you using? I've always heard that clear urethanes are problematic- finicky cure, bubbles, etc. And can we assume you did not use a vac/pressure chamber for either the prep or casting of the urethane?
