Re: 1:1 "Freeborn" YODA (THE ULTIMATE GOAL) Re-Edit "Last Page"
It was good to see you again Al... looking forward to the next stage of our personal project - and thanks guys. Yeah I think you got a bit of a taster of what its like with me working on this thing. With every corner you turn another part needs revising....but as time goes on there are fewer and fewer issues to address. Yoda = the toughest nut to crack:wacko
Re: 1:1 "Freeborn" YODA (THE ULTIMATE GOAL) Re-Edit "Last Page"
I hope Phil doesn't mind. I picked up his "one off" v3.0 silicone head and got it in the other day. Thought I'd share a pic with you guys with the eyes in a less "sleepy" position:
And one on the body (need to rework it so it actually supports the head better, but it was good enough for a few quick shots):
Excuse the crappy digicam pics. The hands (and the feet you can't see LOL) are still the v2 parts. I'll upgrade those as well and have some proper pictures taken then.
Re: 1:1 "Freeborn" YODA (THE ULTIMATE GOAL) Re-Edit "Last Page"
WOW I justy stumbled across this thread and I gotta say that I'm impressed. So many attempts at Yoda - professional and otherwise are as you've stated - clsoe relatives but NOT Yoda... this guy looks awesome!
If you're offereing him at some point - please drop me a note!
Re: 1:1 "Freeborn" YODA (THE ULTIMATE GOAL) Re-Edit "Last Page"
Well I think I'm finally turning the corner on this with the way this sculpt is turning out... Its seems to have the feel I'm looking for now... the sinister looking Yoda in the mud hut saying "you will be... you will be"
Since getting the Blue Ray copies of all the Star Wars Films I've also confirmed my suspicians that Yoda does have a lot of texture to his skin... totally blurred out in the images thus far seen... So i envisage a few hours sat in front of the TV freeze framing the Blue Ray disc at key points in an attempt to get ever liny crease and wart in the right place...
