Building a studio scale pod car

Finished.....thank GOD!
Well I still need to pick up two micro-switches for the engines,
and then it's finished.The base cover is a mic stand I vacuum formed, I
sprayed it black then misted it with a aluminum color from the advice of a good friend. I left the gas line
pipe support metal and just polished it with steel wool.

I just showed this to my wife. "Hey honey, you know those sheets of white plastic I have, how I sometimes cut them up and make little models and stuff, but they always look like a chimpanzee was trying to fold a giftbox, and I throw them out? Look what THIS guy did with the same plastic sheets. Cool, huh?"
