More panel work.....and I am getting pretty happy and almost
done with it. I stopped looking at the filming mini yesterday,
and I had a lot more fun painting it today!!!:lol I kind of settled in
and decided if this thing went from Bespin to Tatooine it would have
a oxidized look from the sun. Bright colors tend to do that in direct
sunlight after a while.To change some of the base color on certain panels I used a very fine sanding sponge.This knocked down the base color and created a type of oxidized look.Because it is still the base color you are for the
most part complimenting the adjacent panel.I found this worked best choosing a panel for sanding that was next to a dark one, this made for nice contrasts.
Some times it's nice to look where you started from first!!thumbsup

I do have pilots I am in the process of getting them together.
I fitted one of the seats today and clayed up the shoulders on one pilot
also.

I just shot the bulsters on the seats with a light blue'sh
color to break the flat black in there.

This is truly one of the best builds I've seen on here in all the time I've been lurking on the rpf! I know that everyone else here has already said that,but I couldn't resist.Thanks guys again!!

This would look really good with just a little weathering for the guns on the fuselages. Sort of carbon scoring from laser blasts heating up the area around the barrel.
